Mid-upper 500s

How do you feel there?

I feel ok but I feel much better in the higher ranges.

Really curious to see where tomorrow’s bloods put me. Hoping it’s low to explain why I’m not feeling great. Is there value in taking labs at peak? Shouldn’t we want to know what levels are at highest?

As far as I am concerned all the numbers have value. We tend to shoot for midway because then you can kind of gauge the range.

Definitely worthwhile doing peak and trough. If I hadn’t have tested peak I wouldn’t have found out how massively my levels were swinging on a weekly protocol - from over double the upper range to below range. I would have just seen the low number at trough and increased the dose which would have made me feel even worse

Please tag me when you get these results @NH_Watts

Whether I increase or decrease my dose, I get the acne quick too

Same.

@physioLojik Generally I fast on the mornings of cardio days. I do HIIT fasted and then nothing but black coffee and water until early afternoon. I do this 3 days a week. Any problems with this?

I don’t know if anyone responded to you yet as I haven’t read all the posts but I will with how I understand keto. From what I have read it can take up to a week to even enter into ketosis therefore when you are close to being fully in ketosis you are kicking yourself away and starting all over again when you eat a high carb meal every seven days. To note on your ketone measurements it shows your body is starting to produce ketones but you are not fully using them for energy and are basically pissing them out. In full ketosis your meter would actually show less as your body is now utilizing them as fuel. So in essence the meters are good when first starting a keto diet but become unreliable when in full ketosis. Again this is just things that I have read from various places and I am not saying they are right but they do make sense to me. Hope that helps some and not just muddied your waters more.

As for performance for me personally I only felt weak for the first couple weeks of ketosis then strength was pretty comparable. My issue was I felt flat, muscle wise, and hated that. I think I will only ever use keto again at the end of cutting weight to get the last little bit off. But I have quite a ways before I get to that point again

Whoah whoah whoah!!! 180 mg split 3.5 days puts you at 1800 ng/dl?? I’m taking 300 mg per week and I’m at 1300 ng/dl. When was that bloodwork done in relation to your last injection???

180mg split actually put me at 1965 ng/dL  My blood was drawn midway. I inject Monday night and Friday morning. The draw was at noon on Wednesday.

RIP Dr. John Crisler. You will be missed. Peace to his family.

What he died

Yes today. I don’t have any details but they were talking about it on the TOT Doctors Roundtable live earlier. I missed the very beginning so not sure if they went over any of the specifics. They were all good friends so it was quite sullen.

Just read on EM. Wow. No cause yet. He was in an AI and recently stopped it according to a thread he had on EM.

He was about to post his labs on the thread…

I get slightly scared reading this.

He also had a heart attack 12 months ago so he wasn’t in the greatest of health I imagine.

Am guessing but he had that thread about dropping ai all of a sudden. I wonder if he had issues starting and tried to remove ai.

Also I believe he injects above average amount cause he said in video that he is a ā€œhyper metabolizerā€
