Falling to the 2nd round AT LEAST! I mean if teams were so scared to take him in the late picks of the 1st… why would they take him with a 2nd?

If the rumors are true and he’s got bone on bone going on I dont see why teams would use a second round pic on him. Bone on Bone in your knee isnt going to allow for a very long or productive NFL career for a pass rusher IMO. I feel bad for the kid

Cards are quietly looking good. Peterson on one side and all pro Cromarti-Rogers on the other and Marc Bulger as FA pickup. grab OLB Reed Arizona or if he’s not available TE Rudolph in the 2nd round.

Dalton to the Bengals… does this mean Palmer is really out of there?

alright! I like the pick by San Fran! Harbaugh can definitely work with Kaep

It’s a great pick. I remember seeing a game on a Thursday night his Freshman year soon after his first start was granted. Made a mental note to myself to watch for him in the future - I think he’s legit, personally.

And what’s up with Jenkins (drafted to Washington?) He’s a 3-4 nose tackle they’re going to put at DE… and he can only get 17 reps at 225? I know it’s not a tell-all, but come on. I’m pretty damn sure I can do that, and I’m just some bro, lol.

Ryan Williams of VT surprised me!!! Beanie better get his shit together or else. Williams has a good attitude. doesn’t mind splitting carries. he says “It’s good to stay fresh, and making your career last longer by subbing in with another guy who can be just as productive as you. It makes it a lot better, because I want to be playing when I’m 40 years old.”
in the 3rd hope to find TE Stocker of Tenn, LB Moch of Nev or Acho of Tex.

I agree. I like the pick especially since they’re going with Smith for this year. Give Kaep another year to learn the system and get better. He’s the fastest QB in the draft but he’s not really a run first kinda Q. Its gonna be a pretty big transition from running the pistol offense to the west coast but I like the pick.

what do you think WestCoast?

I think the NFC West is getting a hell of a lot better. so far the picks seem what the teams need but I still wish we had taken Brooks Reed to chase Kaepernick (4.53 40)

Brilliant pick, IMO. I’ve been a big fan of Williams’ running style for a while now. EXPLOSIVE and has toughness similar to Marion Barber.

the news just said the lockout is back on! WTF?!?!?!

Browns 2 picks 2 d-linemen, there’s hope for our run defense yet!

I was REALLY hoping to grab Smith or Little for that WR slot we need though… but who knows maybe they fall to the 3rd(seems like it could be a stretch, and I dunno that we can afford the talent drop off since it’s such a weakness for the team).

I said in the NFL thread Kap would be the steal of the draft. I really like the Dalton pick. Dalton to Green.

As for the Skins’ pick, I was going to wait to see what they did at 49…HA! Say what! So now we’ll wait 5 more picks. I still think they have a plan w/that front 7. My only question to the Skins is, who is going to throw passes?

I was going to say maybe Bowers but that stud just went to TB. TB’s def is going to be nasty.

Yaaaaa we got Little at 59(I forgot we got that one from the ATL trade =p)… love that pick, saw a lot of their games kid looked like a fantastic possession receiver to go with our(should be good) running game.

Holy shit, am I dreaming, the pats actually picked 3 dudes in the top 60 picks?

They didn’t trade them?

Are we fucking serious here?

Ha I was thinking the same thing

BIG props go to the Pack picking up Randall Cobb out of Kentucky. As an SEC dude I had to see WAY more of that guy than I’d liked. Jordy Nelson and James Jones have proven to kind of be chumps and inconsistent, so I’m very thrilled that they’ll have a big, physical guy like Cobb along with G-Reg and Jermichael Finley.

Mallet to Patriots. Is this real life?

DDDDAAAA BEARS!!!

first things first- my team gave a giant screw you to DJ today when they selected stephen paea in the second round. causing him to lose a bet and he must now change his avatar. suggestions will be taken starting now.

i love that carimi fell to us in the first round. everything about that pick fits well with our team and i think tice will only help this kid. other than winning a friendly wager i do like paea in our defensive scheme. so long as he holds up.

***the pats just took ryan mallett as im typing this- wow. i like mallett and he just gets to sit and learn, well see what happens with him.

the lions scare me a lot. fairley?!?! genius pick. i really thought they were gonna swipe up bowers too, that would have been awesome. they also picked up a wr and rb theyre doing things right, they deserve it.

lots of more thoughts but i just want to make sure everyone SEES this and we can all rag on DJ lol. (its all in good fun brotha)
