Hey, be nice, the games haven’t even started.
Hahahahahahaahahahahaah well you know the Cowboys always champions in the offseason.

Nice to see you back Wilba, hope all is well.
Thanks. Good to have a reason to be on the NFL thread again! I’m doing well other than some back woes, how about you?

JETS v COWBOYS 9/11

I CANNOT WAIT!!!

Hey my boy Derek Anderson got cut lol!

From Rotoworld:

The Newark Star-Ledger confirms the Jets have “reached out” to free agent Nnamdi Asomugha.
This comes on the heels of an earlier report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the Jets plan to “make a run at” Asomugha to pair him with Darrelle Revis. Multiple reports suggest Asomugha is willing to leave money on the table to sign with playoff contender, and Rex Ryan’s squad fits the bill. Asomugha also has designs on an acting career, which may give the Jets yet another edge.

I have the biggest greenest boner now!

Jets vs Cowboys - What the hell do I do with this? On 9\11 no less.

Looks like Giants DT Barry Cofield is going to the Skins.

And apaprently Plax is meeting with the Giants on Friday - here we go again. Although I wouldn’t be suprised if this was a ploy or got canceled before it happens.

Giants are losing a shit ton of players, wonder if some will be resigned at a lower rate.

Honestly they are clearing out older, injured, highly paid offensive linemen. They kept O’Hara a year or two too long. He was solid but could never get a forward push in short yardage. Richie got hurt really bad in the last game and wasn’t going to be ready until late in the year and Andrews was due 7.5 mil and has a chronic back injury. They’ve drafter some guys the past few years so it’s time for them to step up and I’m sure they’ll pickup a vet in FA.

They drafted a DT in the 2nd round the past two years so all in all I think they’re playing this right. Can’t match the skins 6yr-36 mil for Cofield.

Puz going to the Jags.

This morning it was reported that Travaris Jackson is heading to Seattle and Hasselback signed a multiyear deal with Tennessee.

My back is okay for the moment, currently down to 225 pounds and continue to work on getting my athletic skills back. You know in case the Texans need a outside LB :).

I agree I am so ready for some football.

Matty I have to agree with SSC no way the Jets get Nnamdi dude is going to be a Texan sounds like. I think the Boys are going to restructure Newmans contract pick up a tier 2 DB and go after Jenkins to shore up the middle of the defense.

Jets and Cowboys first game of season. Way to set the tone for the year Ryan vs Ryan. FUCK YES.

Yep listening to Serius at the moment on my phone, finally got that shit fixed so I can listen at work. Plus I am now on Twitter for fucks sake, just so I can follow Adam Shefter and Jason LaConfora for updates.

You’ve got to be happy the boys signed Free. Loser Bucs can’t close a deal. I guess they’re unaware there’s a salary floor now?

Yes Wilba that was my great morning news with my coffee.

I have no idea how the Bucs are going to get to the cap floor. 59 million. Fuck everyone in the building getting a million dollar raise?

Deadspin.com had a funny piece about Delvins’ eventual move to Miami via AZ.

Rumors flying so thick you can cut it with a knife.

That along with Pac-12 media day yesterday and it feels like the morning fog isn’t really fog but little football particles hanging in the air.

Damn I love football.

Brad you going to do the FF TNation league? I know last year you had a new addition but you got time this year?

We’ll see dude, I’ve never really done FF in the past

Sorry Im kind of a geek, been doing it prior to the internet. We used to figure out our scores with the box scores of the newspaper. Just thought I would ask, no worries.

Filed to ESPN: WR Santonio Holmes reaches agreement with Jets on a five year deal.

Jets agree to terms with Holmes.

Giants agree to terms with former 49er center Bass - what’s the deal with him westcoast?

Spikes goes to the Chargers, didnt see that coming.

Looks like Jacobs has been told to restructure or the Giants are going to release him. Hope we have Bradshaw locked up when that happens.

It’d be sad to see a one two punch like that be broken up, they’re monsters.
