I actually think SF will be alright. Their D is good, they have a good running game and their conference is generally pretty shitty lol
oh i dont think there is any doubt, they are the most talented team in the NFC west, but most new coaches have a rough first year as it is. hes making the jump to the NFL and has a whole new philosophy to instill in the franchise, that being said, the division is still pretty bad as a whole, so they still could take it

I agree… It mostly sucks that he hasnt had all this time to work with Alex Smith. I’ve had high hopes for my niners for a few years now… but I’m not expecting much this season. I’d be happy with a winning record lol

Greg is a homer, Rams will take it this year due to the new system. Harbaugh will need a few years to build his team.
Edit: Dont hate on me Greg, just going with what I think bro
yeah if i had to put money down, id go with the rams as well. it seems like just a few tweaks here and there all of the teams could be contenders. the niners, just more experience and time to implement the system, possibly new QB, the cardinals, obviously QB, the rams, needs some weapons for bradford to through to, but decent young defense, the seahawks, no one ever picks them, but some how came out on top last year. i think 3 years from now though, the division will be much better, and the niners will be a real contender

I’m pretty far from a homer. I pride myself on being a realistic sports fan (something that most are not)
hahaha no hate man. I could definitely see the Rams taking it as long as Bradford doesnt have a “sophomore slump”
I still wouldnt count out the Niners… I think its a not very good division as a whole, but all of the teams are pretty evenly matched IMO.
You got pride man no worries.
Seattle who is going to be the QB?
If the Rams pick up Sydney Rice then what do you think?
Cardinals who is going to be the QB?
Thats the problem with that division only one team has a true franchize QB.
i think after the rams season last year if they continue to improve it is theirs to lose. BUT i do think that the niners can make a run. Granted someone said new coaches usually have a rough go, I agree, but most new coaches arent on a team with the talent in place in SF. They usually go to shit teams, and the niners havent put it together but they are not a shit team.

Most new coaches have an off season to implement their system. Harbough may have what a weekend? by the time he gets it in place how many games are going to be lost?

I still think that they still with Hasslebeck for this season. Not sure if they’ll be able to pick up where they left off with that big playoff win but I think he’s the guy for at least one more season.
We’ll have to see how Rice does coming back off of that injury but I definitely dont want to see him go to the Rams. Him and Bradford would be quite the connection IMO.
Thats a tough question lol… Anderson sucks but I think he’ll be the starter at the beginning of the year.
All the talk right now is that the deal should be getting done by the 21st… I wouldnt doubt it. I bet all the vets are hoping that the lockout ends AFTER the would be training camps lol

You never know with Carrol what he is going to do, could be in the running for Kolb.
Believe it they are going after a WR in FA, maybe Plaxico?

Kolb will be the starter for the Cards.
I say he probably keeps Hasselback but picks up someone of the caliber like Travaris Jackson. Someone Carrol can tweak.
Rams are in luck this year. With high caliber WRs like Moss, Owens, Rice, and Burress on the market, they have a great chance for an excellent passing game. I see either Owens or Rice in the mix. I just have a vague feeling that Plaxico goes to the Eagles but hell we will see.
I think Kolb would fit well with AZ. By no means will this be their year but Kolb is a great QB to build on.

^ Owens is coming off ACL repair, no way he gets signed this season, he will not pass team physicals till at least November.
Plax has said he is interested in going to Houston, Jets or Philly, but this is going to be a bidding war so who knows.
I havent heard that about Owens. Since thats the case, Rice is the probable candidate. And I agree with the bidding war for Plax. I just have a feeling about that Philly wins him over. Maybe its the cap he wore out of prison, maybe its the interview with NFL total access. I just have the feeling. And honestly, I hope he does. As a person and player, I think Philly can do him some good.

Well as a Dallas fan who hated seeing him twice a year at the Giants I hope he goes to AFC and far away. Heard this morning that he really like the Bears.

So strungout, what are the Chargers going to do? Keep VJ? What are they going to do on D? Is English finally going to step up? Are they losing Sproles?
