John Grudens QB show is on right now with Pryor… Gruden is fucking annoying! This whole show is so awkward and stupid.
Have a little extra time for the holiday weekend, so I thought I’d jump back in a check on the real men of T-Nation. What’s everyone got lined up for the 4th? Beer? Fireworks? Grilling? All of the above?
In regards to Gregron’s comments, I really wonder how this show is constructed behind the scenes. Part of me definitely thinks agents or agency’s pay to have their clients on this show (with some of that money going to Gruden). Gruden is overwhelmingly positive with every player on that show. He might point out some slight negatives or grill them a little, but overall it just seems like a blatant advertisement for a player, and a simple way to gain more exposure.
Technically I can’t think of any reasons why this would be illegal for ESPN or Gruden to do, as they aren’t employees of the league. I’ve always thought the same is probably true with Mel Kiper and Todd McShay. What’s to stop an agent from going to them and giving them $10,000 to speak a little more highly about a prospect?
TO really should be a first ballot HOF er, its a travesty if hes not. I actually always liked Gruden when he was doing games, I always thought he tells it like it is. I didnt see the show, I hope he didnt change his style and became a cock gobbler.
Oh and for the 4th Im going to PA with the fam, beer, whiskey, and loss of fingers
Bump. I heard an interview with Auburn’s coach and I quote “Cam was running a NFL offense, he followed his progressions and reads, just like they do in the NFL” Wut? That I had to call BS.

oh hell yeah, i still cant believe denver traded him for brady quinn, he tore it up when he started in denver denver too
thats what denver does. They dont give a shit about productive RB’s. Seems like they just plug someone else in there and think they’re going to be awesome lol

That was when Shanny was there, Josh wanted to be like Bill.

Def. BS but he was probably just trying to sell Cam.

I know but what does he have to sell now? Kid is #1 pick I think he did the job. Thought it was really weird.
Welcome aboard, lets pray for the deal to get done.
i agree that is bizarre. maybe hes trying to sell his program? thinking that with all the “its not a pro offense” kids may get scared to commit that it may hurt them in the long run?

FOR REAL they literally went through like 6-7 running backs in peyton hillis first year, thats where RB’s go to die, i love the franchise but dayum. i am pretty stoked about von miller though, bro’s an athletic freak, pair him up with DJ williams and elvis dumervil and the front 7 aint too bad

No doubt on the deal. ESPNradio seems confident they’ll agree on a deal in the next week or so.
I got to tell you I like seeing Drew Brees continuing to lead team workouts. Why is Aaron Rogers saying it is no big deal that they aren’t doing the same and haven’t all gotten together yet? Supperbowl hangover?

Good question, maybe they feel they need the rest more? I could see SB hangover. Plus who is FA for Green bay?
Normally teams get picked apart after winning the SB. I have heard that a lot of the FA are not going to organized meetings due to their FA status.
Rodgers is thinking the same way he did last yr. Remember, they got on a 4 game win streak thru the playoffs. It wasn’t like they had some kinda banner yr. All you have to do is get into the playoffs & it’s yours for the taking. Plus they will be even more damaging if Finley comes back 100%.
My one & only post before they impose the lock down back on me. See ya in 2 weeks at training camp.
Huge GB fan but frustrating to see Rodgers busy with his record label at the meantime. Even starring in a music video. I do know that they have had practices but Im not sure who is running them. You would expect the QB.

PRINT where you been brother? Think the Jets will go after Sydney Rice?
I think they’ll try to sign in house players Cro & Holmes first. Though I’m not against making a play for Rice. Love his game. W/all the baggage that Holmes carries I kinda wish they would drop him & go after Rice. I saw where Holmes is creating a firestorm on his Twit account over the Anthony verdict. We don’t need that shit!
Can someone explain to me how Revis did not make the top 5 in the 100 best players. I’m callin’ BULLSHIT rt now!

That list was a joke, there is no explaining to be had there, Ben at 41!

It was all a ratings booster. They didnt even give the survey to all the players in the NFL.
They just gave to some and said who is the active best 20 players in the NFL. Some look at body of work, some look at just last year. BUT it did piss off a lot of people and make good TV.
