NFL Draft 2011 LIVE SPILL

Well what about the Saints draft, those fuckers are going to be really dangerous this year.

McElroy is pure win. I usually agree w/Matty on everything except the buttsecks for Sanchez. But I’ve seen enough of Mac that I know he can win w/the Jets style of football. He does have the intangibles. Which is harder to obtain than learning a new throwing motion. Doesn’t matter anyhow, Sancheese is going to be at the helm for awhile. I think Tanny is hoping to groom Mac & use him as trade bait. Just like the Packers do, ie: Hasselback, some othe clown & now I hear Flynn may be tossed to the Skins. GB preps their 2nd string QB’s as trade bait. Thus far it has worked.

As for who the Jets might of missed on draft day? A big hitting safety. I love Leonhard, but he is slow. I think Ellis is going to help Pace get back to being a true pass rusher. Should be interesting to see where Rex plays him. Already has said he doesn’t want him on the nose.

…ahem.

I’ll just say I look forward to the Saints not making the playoffs this year.

Tampa Bay wins the division, Atlanta squeaks in with the wild card and those pricks from the Bayou whiff it… even with their 1,038,382 running backs.

For some reason and I dont know why I would like to see the saints not make the playoffs either.

Print…Mark will make you a believer this year!

Dont forget there first pick, that guy is a stud. Are you scared of them? Atlanta wins the division, Tampa has sophmore slump and the Saints make the playoffs. Even with there many running backs.

I hope the Saints tank it hard, win like 6 games tops.

Cinn & Det had the best drafts. Tampa’s def was upgraded big-time. They will be dangerous in that division.

Matty, I like Mark. I just get a little gun shy when I watch him drop back in the pocket. He still has skiddish feet. I’m hoping they bring LT back. & rumor has it that they’ll bring Taylor back before Ellis cuz of money.

As for NO, when ever you have Brees & those WR’s, you’ve got a chance. Bringing in Ingram gives them a power, potent inside running game. That division overall is gonna be great to watch.

Oh & BTW… Cam wins MVP… HA!!! Go-head, start tearing my ass up.

EDIT- Can I get a big HELL-YEAH for Seal team six out of Va. Beach!!!

Not any more than I do, my company is based out of Baton Rouge and all I ever here is “Does Texas still have any NFL teams?” Fucking drives me nuts, they win one SB and now they are the Steelers or Packers. But hard to deny that they are fucking loaded and they normally bounce back after a down year.

Yes Print Hell Ya. Cam will not start is my prediction he takes over in game 5 or 6.

Cam Jordan is probably going to be pretty good, I agree. I really can’t put a finger on why I predict an off season. I feel it in the force… haha.

Seriously, I feel Atlanta made themselves look a LOT better last year than they actually were - especially that defense, which got no extra help this off-season. The offense is still looking good, if not elite, but I don’t see that D having the same kind of outing they did last season.

Tampa Bay, I feel, is hungry and young as hell. A 10-win team last year, they’ve been building the way a 4-3 team should IMO (Broncos, take note.) A see a plethora of good talent and again, hungriness that I feel is unmatched, and I see the division winner.

The reason I’m not particularly fond of NO this year is a few things… The secondary is exposed. Sharper is still a stud but those guys wouldn’t be able to keep up with green Bay, Atlanta, even someone like Pittsburgh imho. The offense didn’t get a whole lot better. Ingram IS a stud, but his running style is no different than Ivory and Pierres’. Reggie Bush can be utilized effectively, but he was a what, 15-snap back last year? Nothing to get panties in a bunch about.

Like every other prediction I’ve made so far I may totally eat my words, but something is guiding me away from NO as a real threat this year. (And no, lol, it’s truly not because I’m bitter about Ingram or scared.)

I thought I had been missing you beans, than I come in here & see these single sentence posts & I get so disappointed. April is over, you should be fresh.

I hope Mallett gets caught w/Giselle w/his pants down.

So what about the new Howdy doody ginger in Cinci? Does Palmer retire officially? Could anybody here actually say fuck off with your 11 million dollars for 6 months of work?

That would fire up Brady enough to cut the hair and dominate again. I’m with you on that.

(I’m still recovering, and at work, lol… Also I know jack and shit abotu college kids, so my comments are limited in here.)

Dalton is a stud, and the Bengals are just being assholes not trading Palmer away.

I don’t particularly like Carson, by any stretch of the imagination. But seriously, they’re being dickheads.

That is for sure, Dalton proved all the nay sayers wrong over the last 4 years. But come on man Cinci will never be a force in that division. They will have a couple of good years now and then but the way the ownership runs that team. Not going to happen. Kind of feel sorry for Palmer to be honest. I think in 7-8 years Dalton will be going through the same thing.

Just cause it hasn’t been screamed from the mountain top doesn’t mean Palmer isn’t on the block. Or Cinn hasn’t been in contact w/teams. I think he’ll be traded. As is Ocho Stinko. They were just replaced this past weekend.

The case for Palmer is we really don’t know how good he could’ve been. He’s not a horrible QB.

first things first- my team gave a giant screw you to DJ today when they selected stephen paea in the second round. causing him to lose a bet and he must now change his avatar. suggestions will be taken starting now.

i love that carimi fell to us in the first round. everything about that pick fits well with our team and i think tice will only help this kid. other than winning a friendly wager i do like paea in our defensive scheme. so long as he holds up.

***the pats just took ryan mallett as im typing this- wow. i like mallett and he just gets to sit and learn, well see what happens with him.

the lions scare me a lot. fairley?!?! genius pick. i really thought they were gonna swipe up bowers too, that would have been awesome. they also picked up a wr and rb theyre doing things right, they deserve it.

lots of more thoughts but i just want to make sure everyone SEES this and we can all rag on DJ lol. (its all in good fun brotha)
FML dude do you have contacts with the bears or what? I didnt even get to watch the draft until yesterday rounds 2-7 on the DVR. I was what about 4-5 picks away from him going in the 3rd? And then the fucking bears pick him up.

I will stand by whatever you pick, except women. Fat chicks is fine but no semi naked women or the wife will have my balls. I also hope the kid does good for the bears.
im a pretty important person and made some phone calls so i could win my internet battle, im a terrible loser haha. i remember, no women.

SP had me laughing pretty hard so its down to that one, the cowboys piss one or something about murses lol.

the official pick will be in tonight before my bedtime.

my thoughts process, SP because it is funny and awkward. if i go with the cowboys one i know he will hate it but unless you participate in here people will just think he hates the cowboys and not get it, but then people think he hates the cowboys which is awesome as well. murses because well, obvious is obvious.

i really want to give the bears an A- maybe a B+. i love carimi and think the kid will be a stud, nuf said. paea is a first round talent with a no worries injury that dropped him and we got him late in the second another great pick. he can play either the under tackle or the nose in our defense so he will get a lot of playing time. The safety we took i dont know much about, but apparently he converted from corner and then made all conference. some guys say he was over picked others say it was a steal, so the juries out on that one. drafting a QB, whatever, if martz likes him to grow fine. but do they just cut caleb hanie our current back up? the kid has shown some moxy out there. maybe trade him for a late round pick. then the OLB from WV i dont know him, but i feel like guys come out of that defense tough so im ok with that pick too.
