Granted the Titan secondary was decimated…hey the patriots have been there too…anyone ready to eat there words yet on Brady or the Patriots?

Did you watch Brady throw a game winning pass into Welker’s feet last week?

One game against a shit team does not a champion make.

Fuck the Yankees.

He missed an entire season. Remember last year when Peyton struggled through the first five games and righted the ship? Oh ye of little faith, They are back. Consider ye if ye shall the mighty Giants 5-0 (against KC, Ok, and TB among others) Number one defense eh? Ouch. BOHICA Giants. That stands for Bend Over Here It Comes Again. I totally agree with your sentiments on the yankees. PS I am hammered as well and its only 6pm here. OFDTA…Tablata tommorow not so fun eh? Not dead…can’t quit
Yeah man, I have high hopes, but I’m from New England. I’m born cynical and negative.

Crabtree has finally signed with the 49ers, as a fan I’m glad to finally have him, even though it was an annoying path to get him here.

The Jets boosted their receiving game with the addition of Braylon Edwards.

Thoughts?
Crabtree had better produce and be humble. The jets(hate to say it) have an excellent addition in Edwards. Did I mention Mr Brady just had 6 td’s, 5 of them in the first half?

me too…cynical but not negative. Or at least I try not to be unless i respond to the Limbaugh thread…we play Tampa bay for christs sake …unless some one at wembley stadium has a hat trick, I think we will be ok. The Sox were going to fail…pitching

Did you not see my post about Titans getting butt raped?

They dropped the fucking soap in that game.

Remember the ALCS a few years ago?..Sox down by three need to win 4 in order to make it…never been done. Won the series, actually went on to sweep the series. NOT DEAD>>>CAN’T QUIT

A rookie secondary, meets the perfect storm. I actually feel bad for the Titans, first Peyton, now this< I don’t think they are that bad of a team actually. At least there are some pieces in place

It was a nice win for the Patriots but after watching the Titans keep turning the ball over, dropping passes, and leaving receivers wide open, it just didn’t feel as satisfying. It reminded me a little of that huge win the Pats had over the Raiders last year. I can’t believe the Titans are playing that bad.

I’m really surprised no one has mentioned the Saints shellacking the G-men.

I really thought that game would have cooled the Saints jets but all it did was add fuel to the flame.

This team is good, real good and for a long time Saints fan like myself, this is an absolute thrill ride.

I still canâ??t help but keep my paper bag real close though.

Only time will tell; but I can see Miami as a final destination for the one time â??aintsâ??.

Yesterday was surprising, to think that the Eagles don’t have that much depth on their offensive line?

And yeah Brady hung 59 on the Titans (guess he had some residual anger from losing the week before)!

But I thought the G-men would put up a better fight against the Saints than that??

Thoughts on tonights game?

Saints look like the best team in the NFL right now. Their offense is hitting on all cylinders and they finally have a defense to match. Hopefully they can keep it up, as opposed to burning out towards the end of the season as they have done in years past.

The disparity in the league this year is pretty remarkable, with so many teams simply dominating and so many others simply sucking. Almost seems like two different classes of teams.

Brett Favre looks like he’s pounding drinks from the fountain of youth, and smiling while doing so. He’s 6-0 for the first time in his career and playing on arguably the best team he’s ever managed. Vikes could do dirty things this year.

Unfortunately the Titans are learning the hard way how vital a good defensive line/nose guard is to the rest of your defense. Their lack of pressure from the middle is allowing QBs to scan defenses for longer and pick apart the CBs more easily, and letting offensive lineman move to the LBs more quickly to open huge holes for the RBs.

And the lack of their Defensive Coordinator.

I hope the Chargers just start losing now so they can clean house. New coaching staff, get rid of Tomlinson, Merriman, Cromartie, o-lineman, whole D-line. They get worse and worse each season under Norv Turner.

I missed Monday Night football. How bad was the score?

Loss by 11 is pretty bad when you are playing at home. Lets just say Rivers had a guy in his face everytime he tried to throw the ball.

Elvis Dumeril probably got in his ass. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Credit to denver though, they played great ball that game.

they hung in there when SD could have put up points.

And their great recieving core came through in the end with a QB in career best form.

And how about that eddie royals? eh.

I missed all of it. I’m gonna have to watch NFL Primetime.

Letting the ball get run back for a touchdown a couple times doesn’t help at all either.

The Chargers looked a LOT better tonight. They actually had something resembling a line on both sides of the ball for a significant portion of the game, they succeeded in tackling with <3 attempts quite often, LT was looking pretty good, and Cromartie is starting to look like the player he think he is. The LT thing pisses me off. I think Turner must hate him. They need to improve consistently from their performance tonight to have any kind of chance for a post season.

Is Scifres hurt? I didn’t see him hobbling around, but the commentators said something about it after the game.
