Yeah, I can’t listen to Gruden. I think Jaws is great, but he needs the right person in the booth with him (Yes, person. You don’t need three people to call a game.) Gruden sucks and Tirico gets lost too easily.

You guys are crazy. I like Gruden.

From ESPN:

I’m hoping head coach Jim Zorn gave him the full play chart because Lewis fell in love with the same pattern to tight end Chris Cooley early in the game. The Redskins normally like to spread 17 points over several games, but don’t let that explosive point total fool you.

I hope the Eagles woke up this morning after last night’s win with the reality that they need to start playing some real football, real quick.

I’m not convinced they’re as good as everyone thinks they are. Let me rephrase that, I think they’re that good (they certainly have the talent), they’re not as tight or together as they need to be (or can be). It seems when they’re on they’re on, but when they’re off, they REALLY suck. Feast or famine with the Eagles (as always).

Did anyone else notice that Mosquito that landed on Tiricos head last night in the pre-game shit? Thing was on there for a good 2 minutes I just kept staring at it. Then I notice how mishapen his head is and I couldn’t stop laughing. I think Grueden saw it too, cause when Tirico asked him a question, Grueden was just looking at Tiricos mike, not up at his head.

Any early predictions for MVP? Manning is leading the race right now but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Favre steal it. I would kill for Brees to get it but I don’t see it happening.

Brees for MVP…so far. Manning is playing lights out right now but we’ve come to expect that from him and it might hurt his chances…kinda like, big deal, he does it every year, pfffttt.

If you saw Favre struggle to step up the podium after the game ya might re-think that lol. He’ll get votes cause he is playing really well but I still think he’s gonna break down sometime this season and then start to make mistakes. Taylor fucked up, not Brett last Sunday.

Has anyone won it in consecutive years?

  1. Jim Brown - 1957, 1958
  2. Joe Montana - 1989, 1990
  3. Brett Favre - 1995, 1996, 1997
  4. Peyton Manning - 2003, 2004

I too think Brees is the most deserving but I think there’s too much bias behind Favre, almost as long as he finishes the season without fucking up too bad, it’s his. But the Saints/Brees are on track to break the single season scoring record, be the #1 seed, and hopefully win the Superbowl. If they finish 14-2 or 15-1 which is very likely, it would be a crime to not give it to Brees.

Anyone else think Favre isn’t going to be able to finish the season nearly as well as he’s playing now?

Glad to see the Pats are their old selves again the past two weeks.

Slow down chief. They also just played to winless teams.

As opposed to Indy, the Giants, the Steelers etc. Just as an example, the Giants played (excluding the week one)4 winless teams in a row, now having played actual teams 0-2. I believe we have beat Baltimore and Atlanta?
You may possibly be another patriots hater, maybe not but here’s this for you
The Patriots will beat the Colts and have an excellent chance against the Saints
there, I said it[/quote]

Did’nt the giants lose again? This is what happens when you don’t play bottom rung teams. Who has Indy played again? Yeah they look good, but still. Denver is a very good team and undefeated so it’s not a crime to lose a game IN OT. My view?
1-Saints
2-Colts
3-Bronco’s
4-Vikings
5-Patriots

Peyton Probably will, but I see Bree’s too. I don’t know about Farve. Then there’s that Brady guy

Remember there has been co-MVPs before so it could end up being Manning and Brees. I’d have to say Manning has been more impressive because of all these new receievers he has. Colts schedule has been alright so far. By looking at their schedule i only see 3 tough games for them left, Ravens, Patriots, and Broncos. The Broncos one is huge because it could be for homefield. I say at worst they go 13-3.

How crazy would it be if the Saints and the Colts went 15-1, both losing to the Pats.

How cool would it be if the Patriots died in a fire?(excluding Junior Seau and Fred Taylor)

Not so much the whole team, just the coach.

How can anybody not consider Chris Johnson to be the best running back in football. The guy is averaging 6.9 ypc and is leading the league in rushing yet has a lot less attemps than S. Jackson and A. Peterson. Man is he fast.

They won’t consider him because his team is in such disarray. Which I agree is wrong, the guy is amazing (and a fantasy stud!).

Ok only two undefeated teams left, who will be the next to fall?

I’m actually happy that the Broncos are no longer in that group. It takes a huge amount of pressure and attention off the team.

You shouldn’t be happy that they lost to a team that will probably be competing with them in the playoffs. That game could be the difference between homefield if they both win their divisons and have the same record.

Very true it could have playoff implications (surprising talking about the Broncos and playoffs when 3 months ago everyone was saying they’d be lucky to go 5-11).

But I can handle that loss as long as they don’t lose to San Diego, Oakland or KC.

The Colts have the Pats and Ravens back to back. They’re going down before the Saints do.

dolphins are better than their record… they could easily be 5-2 with win against the colts and saints. but the fact is, there not… im very scared of the pats this week but we usually play them well. ronnie brown is the champ.
