LOL!

I actually left my friends place in disgust at the two minute warning so I missed it.

BUT THE BROWNS ARE IN FIRST PLACE WOO!
If Pittsburgh can’t win the division I’d like to see the Brownies take it. That city and it’s fans deserve a winning season. Hoyer looks legit. Steelers had him on their roster but let him go and instead kept fat Albert, ugh.

go Browns! I am impressed.
I despise them the least. I want Jim Brown to physically pummel Kosar on the next Browns telecast, what a fuckhead.

And the Tony Romo complaining starts and we haven’t even kicked their ASS yet!!

You have got to be kidding me with this, I guess this is what happens when you and you’re division suck.

Ha, They are going to get blown out.

Giants are grasping at straws by signing John Beason…ironically the guy who beat out Beason this year on the Panthers Chase Blackburn was on the Giants last year.

The Giants front office gets at least some credit for this start. You cant just keep letting big pieces go and not expect it to catch up with you. Blackburn is a beast who never really got the respect he probably deserved.

It has to harbor some of the blame, I am a big fan of Jerry Reece, and always liked his habit of stacking players to plug and play, he has been successful so he deserves a mulligan this year. However their lack of linebackers and lack of effective offensive line has caught up with them.

Also depending on David Wilson to shoulder the load at running back was a fairly horrendous error as well. When Brown went down in the preseason they should have tried to acquire someone else. Wilson will never amount to much and cant hold on to the ball.

Yeah, While I am a Kevin Gilbride fan he has to start using some screens in his playbook, Eli just does not have the time to chuck it down field any longer. Wilson looks like a guy that needs some space. But like you said, you gotta hold on to the ball

Chud is the coach of the year at this point. The Browns D is in full beast mode, and Ray Horton will be a HC for someone next season.

I havent felt that bad about sports in a long time after watching Hoyer tear his acl, then having to watch weeden look like he’s never played football before. I’ll give Weeden credit for hanging in there and getting his shit shorted out, but it was real clear he’s not an nfl qb. It’s just a damn shame we’ll probably never know the true potential of Hoyer, he looked good.

The 2nd Hoyer went down ended their shot at the AFC North this year. I know they won and I know their D is playing lights out, but I really doubt it’ll last. Their run game sucks and Weeden just wont cut it. He’s so slow…

I legit don’t get all the praise Hoyer had been getting. He wasn’t some godsend at QB the last 2 weeks(3 picks vs MIN), and Weeden hadn’t gotten to play with Gordon on the field yet(and those were literally his first snaps in 2+ weeks last night, he just got the cast removed from his hand on Wednesday evening) or a healthy O-line(Oneal Cousins lol). After a few shaky series he put together the huge 70+ yard drive with some solid throws, then hit the 2 bombs in the second half, and played a solid 4th quarter. He also didn’t get a whole lot of help from the line in his first handful of dropbacks(this is the part where everyone whines about his ‘lack of internal clock’ because he didn’t get rid of the ball in under 2 seconds before Mario Williams was already in his lap).

I don’t think either QB is our guy for the future(they both kind of suck), but Weeden is probably a better one than Hoyer; people have some seriously rose tinted glasses because he got to blow up a terrible MIN team(that he threw 3 picks to) and didn’t have to run for his fucking life from that Miami pass rush like Weeden did week 1.

Yeah, I should have pointed out that he may have a use as a receiving back but I don’t know how much other usefulness he has.

They won though! I know it’s not going to last, but it’s visible that the Browns are having fun playing the game, and that makes them fun to watch.

No, I don’t think either QB is the QB of the future for this team if they are serious about rebuilding. I don’t think Hoyer is that great, but he has one attribute that is. He gets rid of the ball quickly.
Anyway, I am going to enjoy watching them for now. For a team that ‘threw’ the season, they are doing pretty good.

I don’t think Hoyer is some God send either, but I think he’s a better passer than Weeden, he makes decisions quicker, and he can actually move. In short, he’s just more dynamic. He’s no Kapernick though.

I agree both are average at best though.

The Browns biggest problem is the O-line/average backs leading to zero run game. I don’t care who you are, if the opposing defense knows you can’t run the ball it makes passing a hell of a lot harder.

And kick their ass you will. But actually, I think what he said was smart. If he can succeed at getting the ref’s to pay close attention to Bronco penalties, especially if he can point out some clearly missed calls will make it a closer game.
That being said, the Bronco’s are going to flatten Dallas and anybody else in their way for the foreseeable future. They are as hot as hot can get.

It may bite him though. Because if they start calling things ticky then Carr’s day with Demytrius Thomas is going to be very long.

I so wish my good friend MattyXL would go to the Jets facility & shove a sawed off double barrelled shotgun In Holmes mouth, & pull!

If it gets called tight both ways Dallas is screwed.

It’s been funny some of the “talking heads” on TV and radio making a big deal about the Broncos going on the road. Umm they do realize it’s supposed to be 90 in Dallas that day right?
