If Pittsburgh can’t win the division I’d like to see the Brownies take it. That city and it’s fans deserve a winning season. Hoyer looks legit. Steelers had him on their roster but let him go and instead kept fat Albert, ugh.

What utterly shits me as a Jets fan is … well there’s lots of things, but for NOW what utterly shits me as a Jets fan is how Rex claims he’s “in shock” after a smashing. For fucks sake man, you’re a fucking head coach in the fucking NFL - wear it, then fix the fucking thing.

Ryan is the Idiot Savant of NFL coaches. He has good defensive mind, however anything else, offense, challenges, talking to media, clock management, play calling and anything else that has to do with effectively coaching a professional football team he is utterly useless.
At the start of the season Ryan was a dead man walking by most talking heads and I would have agreed. Now I’m not so sure.

I know, I know. I’m getting soft, like the Steelers left tackle.

BTW were you annoyed at Ray Lewis’s comment last week about how that kind of behavior(Jacoby Jones party bus) would never happen on his team, lack of leadership etc. I thought it was a joke. I almost want them to do well to spite him.

I heard about it, but haven’t actually heard the comment from Ray so ahh…My guess is Ray was just caught off guard by the question and made something up on the fly. It’s not like he doesn’t have any history  Plus I doubt he really believes there’s no leadership on the team because of 1 incident.

For crying out loud Suggs “supposedly” threw bleech on his girlfriend while Ray was here so a little party fight isn’t a big deal.

Yea lol once someone is involved in a murder investigation and still a leader I feel like the team can manage a party incident.

I only caught the very beginning and the tail end of the ATL-NE game due to Breaking Bad so I must have missed the “suck” of ATL. I thought the ending was pretty awesome though.

Skins game was rough to watch. RG3 looks like he is getting more comfortable but damn if he wasn’t off on his throws. It annoyed me how the announcers kept touting how the defense was finally playing well. Sorry, it is the Raiders. It’s nice to see but let’s not go and get ourselves worked up about the D.
It was the worst of times and the best of times and the a sputter at the end. The 4Q rally was impressive but too little too late.
Like I said before it’s a problem with 3’s. The Saints are raging right now, but it’s a long season and the Falcons are depleted as hell with injuries. But the Packers went through this and they won the SB. So all is not lost, but it better turn around soon. There is still a lot of season left, I am not piling dirt on them just yet. If we run the table, we will have the same record as last year. I am not expecting that necessarily, but there is no reason we cannot win most games from here on out. It’s just time to get to work. It seems we like our back against the wall.
We need to get Asante, Jackson, and Roddy healthy fast. Roddy played, but he is not anywhere normal.
The injuries are killing us, but our red zone performance can be much better. Keep in mind injuries can happen to anybody and it takes one big one to kill a team. So we shall see.

The problem with Rex is he doesn’t make his guys accountable. He buddy buddy’s them so they will like him and in his mind play well for him. I think he should get on their asses and make them work harder and start getting tough on them. He defended sanchez for way to long, one case in point. He knows defense very well but is way to nice when the guys are f ing the dog.
I like coach Sanchez as permanent qb coach if he only got rid of the enrique iglesias head band lol.

The Ravens lost a lot of their team. I think they have the talent, but it’s going to take time. Wait for the 2nd half. A lot of teams have stumbled out of the gate, some that should not succeed are.
Right now, the SB is Denver and New Orleans.

Oh Rex. He’s just too stupid to be a head coach. He’s needs to coordinate a defense and stay out of the locker room. The Jets will only get better when they fire that nimrod.

Man, the Falcons sure do look like shit this year. I sure am glad the team I root for is actually pretty good. I can’t imagine what it would be like to live in a shithole like Atlanta and have nothing to look forward to between now and next baseball season.
I lol’ed.

However, they had some chances. The Pats made some serious mistakes that put them in a position to lose, but the D stepped up when it mattered.

Going for it on 4th in the first quarter, and not getting it sure made the end a lot more interesting than it was. Not sure I’m a fan of the way ATL used their timeouts in the 4th either.
I just saw on TV, Wilfork is out for the year with an achilles injury. Not good, he’s the best in the business.
Hard loss to take for sure. I hope it become a rally cry for that D though. “Let’s win one for Vince” and all that…
I hate that, that happened to Wilfork. He’s a good player and a good guy. Sorry about that.

Until Smitty learns to coach with some fire and confidence I’m afraid Atlanta will never live up to the talent level.

I dont understand why he gets so much credit as a coach for consistantly taking one of the most talented teams in the NFC, which plays in what has really been a 2 team division, and falling short each year to inferior teams in the playoffs.

He keeps getting the credit that the GM should get for the teams regular season success yet somehow hasnt taking more shit for his post seasons misgivings.

Spoiler Alert! I did not die during the Breaking Bad Finale last Sunday, but the Pittsburgh Steelers season did. :frowning:

Agreed, I still stick with Denver and Falcons in the SB.

Dont care just a hunch.

Falcons have some guys out on D, and Jackson being gone will be a problem.

I am just not sold on the Saints D yet.

NFC is up for grabs IMO, who knows maybe a sleeper out there or GB can actually stop tripping up themselves.
