So Denver, on paper, is really setting up their defense. They are going for gold with Ware, Talib, and Ward…

I like the signing of Andre Roberts. Get a WR1 in the draft. With Garcon as WR2 and Roberts in the slot we are pretty stocked. Now that secondary needs a serious look
Doesn’t matter, Denver will put up record #'s and lose in the playoffs again.
Yeah I hope so but they’re going all out.
Well Manning is like 85, right?

Seriously though, I can’t stand Manning, but I’d hate for him to go out like Favre (who is my favorite qb).
Im older than Manning

So kiss my ass
Lol!

Its not up to Rex…Revis and Woody (jets owner) have a bad relationship. Im sure Rex wanted him back but Idzik didnt want to fork over the cash.

Correct me if I’m wrong but if the Jets got Revis back then they would have essentially let him go for a year to get Richardson who was outstanding in his first year, and would have only given up a 4th round pick.
Exactly
Would have made Rex Ryan look like a genius, not to mention improve that already good defense.
Exactly.

They fucked up, I dont know if they have the cap space.

But Rex should have done something.
I’m pretty sure they had around 40 million in cap space, but I don’t think he wanted to go back.

I am sure they have 15 million reasons for him to go back.

Well I’m looking forward to hearing how Denver is going to be undefeated next season, it seems from what I’ve watched that they are already in the AFC championship game.
What’s funny is that their defense really wasn’t that bad in the playoffs. In fact it was good against the Chargers and Pats. Their problem will be their soft offense. If they have to go up against a team like the Seahawks or Niners, they will get pushed around again. Elway is really putting all his eggs in one basket. If they don’t win a Super Bowl in the next two years it will be a complete failure.
I don’t think they even care about the next 2 years. They are going for it all now- I don’t see Manning playing past this next season

Haha, you guys don’t have to splurge on a bunch of free agents. Here’s hoping we both can at least beat the Broncos once next year.
my Cards will be seeing you AFC West guys this season, along with the Rams, Hawks, and 9ers. hope NFC West can go 4-0 against Denver.
inside our own div it’s gonna be a bitch. 10-6 won’t even get you into the playoffs.
Cardinals might have a chance this year, aren’t the 49er’s imploding?
kinda looks like it but can’t count them out.
picking up Veldheer at LT should really help and with Cooper coming back the left side of the oline looks solid. Dansby left for big$ but at 32 I couldn’t see paying him like Cleveland did. Andre Roberts will be a great pick up for the Skins. top slot receiver and a class act
so far this free agency period is playing hell with my draft picks. at least we don’t have to reach for a LT.
NFC West is easily the best division in football right now. They’ve got 4 of the probably top 8 defenses in that division alone I would say.

do they drug test you at work?

Eagles look to be sexy in the East, while Washington, NY, and Dallas eat themselves and barf out their pricey vets.

Lions picked up Golden Tate. I think that’s going to take Mike Evans off of all the pundits mock drafts thank goodness. What bothers me, though, is that if SEA is fine with letting him go, just what exactly is wrong with him.

Isn’t that lazy predicting? “Oh the Lions have the 10th pick? Who’s the best reciever on the board cuz we ALL know the Lions draft WR’s in the first round…” Matt Millen is long gone y’all. As is the owner. DET’s gameday uni’s might be the first in NFL history that have a corporate logo, with the caveot of it being “in memoriam.”

If Edelman hasn’t been signed yet by NE I would not at all be surprised to see SEA make a grab at him after losing Golden Tate

And why are you beating up on the Skins? I’m ok with the moves so far. I’m interested to see what else they work up but as of right now they are doing just fine.

The skins Shanahan and RGIII debacle mostly. In my view, the Skins are the key in the East and it seems that when they’re bad, the East is bad.

Naturally I don’t have any statistics to back that up.

Meh… I imagine it was more media driven than anything but I understand your point. And that’s why the year after next we are going to the SUPERBOWL!!!

Sproles and McCoy. Two of the shiftiest RBs in the league. Eagles offense is going to be good, especially with Maclin coming back.

Ok.

AJ McCarron.

Saban came out today and said teams would be foolish to pass on him.

But honestly guys, who here would not want this guy on their squad, especially if you’re spending 3-7 round $ to get him?

I can look at teams like Denver, KC, St. Louis, Nawlins, ATL, TEN, CHI as squads who’ll bring him in. I mean damn. Is he a first rounder? Clearly not. Too many high caliber players above him at the position, etc. However, he’s got to be an OC’s dream. He’s a soldier, a point man, and he gets it done. Watch the Bama-Aggies game (again) and his second half, it’s kind of incredible. He’ll end up somewhere, and I have a feeling it’ll be supporting an older QB or to let an underperforming QB feel the heat to perform.

I just have this feeling that in 3 years all these other busts will be watching this kid play on Sunday.
