Okay Jack I understand.

I haven’t in a long time. Except from mods when I post links they don’t like.

Seattle over Chiefs in the Superbowl. The two losses to Denver did more good for the Chiefs than any of the wins this year. I would have no fear of Indy or the Bengals, NE aren’t the same team without Gronk and its very hard for a team to beat a division rival three times in one year. Both losses to Denver where just a few plays from being wins, particularly in Arrowhead. If we get to play them again we will make those plays and win the game.
The Chiefs still have to win in San Diego!! Might be a shoot out.
Technically we don’t have to, as we a pretty firmly locked in the 5th seed, but it sure would be nice. I think it will be a good game, something like 30-24 Chiefs. Justin Houston will be back which is a major plus, we would never have lost in Arrowhead if him and Hali had not got injured. We were up 14-3 and rolling. But you can’t make excuses injuries happen. Chargers better than their record suggests. Hope they don’t sneak into playoffs.

It would be awesome if the Broncos, Chiefs and Chatgers all made it to the playoffs. That would be sweet.

Could you imagine? Half of the AFC playoff teams would all be from one division lol

Yeah, that just happened year before last didn’t it? In 2007 it happened in both conferences with the AFC South and the NFC East. Its not nearly as uncommon as you would think.

Yup, can’t make injury excuses. You know how many o-lineman the Chargers have had to shuffle around this year? There was one game where there was only one starter playing because two guys were already out for the game and two others got hurt during it. Good teams find a way to win even when their players get hurt or are out.

I’m not trying to bag on the Chiefs are anything because I think they are a good team and I predicted they would do good this year, but they are overrated as to what their schedule says. They have beaten basically nobody unless you count the Cowboys and Eagles. The Eagles are a completely different team now than when the Chiefs played them before. Don’t get me wrong I would love to see the Chiefs beat out the Broncos in the playoffs, but they already had their chance twice and couldn’t do it either time. I just don’t think they can do it under Alex Smith.

The Bronco’s have faced almost the exact same strength of schedule as us, you can only play the team in front of you and as is shown every week, there are no easy wins. Cleveland nearly won in NE for example. Last year the only quality team the Broncos beat was the Ravens and at that time the Ravens were playing like dirt. They have had two years of easy schedules that no one ever talks about.

Alex Smith is no Peyton Manning but he will win you games and as he gets more comfortable in the offense he is improving rapidly. In the last four weeks he is averaging 212 yards a game, has thrown 9 TDs and only 2 INTS. Not amazing but pretty effective.

I honestly believe its very hard to beat a close rival 3 times in one year, we weren’ that far off the Broncos, particularly in Arrowhead. It would be tough and obv the Broncos would be hot favourites. Stranger things have happened though.

Looks like Cousins will be getting the start in place of RG3 who will be inactive. I hate the decision personally but at least Cousins will get a chance to shine a bit.

I have no idea what this means anymore. Are we bailing on this kid already? That doubt will always be there
The seasons already gone, and RG111 just doesn’t seem to be playing at a competitive level. I actually like the idea, it will let Cousins show what he can do for 3 games, then if he performs well the Skins can use it to trade him. They spent alot for RG111, from the second they got Cousins everyone kinda new it was to eventually trade him as long as RG111 proved he was a starter.
If Cousins comes in and plays halfway decent and they win a game, they better trade him. Do you really want fans to be calling for the backup next year if RGIII comes out still a dud like he was this year? This move creates way to many problems, especially if the Skins win. Potential locker room issues with your planned franchise QB and maybe even a QB controversy. Doesn’t seem like a good idea to me.
Right… that’s what I’m seeing too. That’s my concern for next year if we don’t trade him off- people constantly calling his number.

And I agree about Shanny. I was a little surprised/disappointed to see it hasn’t happened already. I can’t wait for Kyle to be gone. No idea who the hell is going to come in here and want to coach though but I think we will have a decent roster next year assuming we keep the correct guys and pick up the right ones…
I think it would be a mistake to get rid of Shanny. He will address the D in the off season.

Did you really think he could flip this team in 2 years? He needs at least 4 years to get a stable team with depth.
It hasn’t been 2 years… he has 1 year left on the 5 year deal. I would normally agree to let him work on it and fix the D issues and whatever else with the release from the cap penalty and whatever else but honestly I just think the dysfuntion is too much. Is it all media driven? Maybe. That may be the only case in which he stays, where there is no actual situation just some bs the media has pieced together. But if its real, someone else needs to come in.

Yall gave me pretty good advice last time so I need some advice on fantasy, Pick 3:

AJ Green @ Pitt
Josh Gordon @ Chicago
Desean Jackson @ Minnesota
Alshon Jeffreys vs Cleveland (Joe Haden terrifies me)
Green, Gordon, Jeffrey. Those 3 guys are must-starts in my book no matter the matchup. Jackson is more of a boom/bust than any of the others. Haden could be covering Marshall (especially since Cutler gets the start).

Seattle’s D is tearing the Giants up. I was a bit worried about an early road game on the east coast even against a mediocre team, but the Giants O can’t seem to do shit.

I wish Seattle played Arizona last rather than the Rams so they could know whether they could just tank it and fuck the Niners out of spite.

Bizarre stuff going on in KC. The offense and defense have completely switched identities in the last 3 weeks.

Sorry Derek but LOL at the Cowboys at the end of the game. That was like a Chargers signature loss.

Haha, of course. After the Pats lose Gronk and lose to the Dolphins, I don’t see anybody beating out the Broncos in the AFC.
