Is it Shurmer or is that franchise just snake bit?
I’m going to say shurmer. They have talent, and a new owner; who i hope is able to put the right ppl in place. holmgrem was just collecting a check, and hiring ppl is agent suggested. Now that he’s gone, and Joe Banner is running things it should get better.

Like most years tho, i dont even care about the loses anymore, i’d rather have the higher draft pick. I dont think there are any Luck/RG3 type players coming this year tho
You dont have faith in Weadon?

They have some things in place, decent D, good running game.

Is QB what you really need?

I like Weeden; i really meant more of a dynamic play maker, rather than replacing the QB.

It’s really the coaching staff that needs the talent. Haslam/Banner need to hit a homerun with whoever they hire. Are there anymore Harbaugh brothers?

I also like QB-Weeden. He really should have 3-4 more pass TDs on his current stats, his wideouts have dropped multiple, perfectly thrown and catchable balls.

Great performance from CB-Claiborne tonight.

Against two excellent wideouts, he’s looked dominant out there.

edit - just to head off any thoughts of sarcasm, it’s about being able to leave your CB out there on an island and watch him hold his own. both White and Jones still got theirs of course, but current rules all but ensure that potent pass offenses cannot be shut down, esp at home.

Goddamn Doug Martin tore it up today. The Raiders got slashed by him.

3 shit calls resulting in 14 points. Fucking disgusting. I hope Roger Goodell’s cancer (that I wished on him 2 years ago) metastasizes into his cunt.
I thought the fumble/interception (tuck rule) call on Roethlisberger was a good call.

It’s your right as an American to be wrong.

Ok so the Raiders Defense is beyond terrible, it’s a given, however:

Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin Doug Martin

Lord All Mighty what a performance.

All while playing in front of Blount. Tee Hee. Punkass Karma gets Punked. Nice.

Oh and if you guys don’t remember, here’s what I’m talking about.

And Doug Martin is a rookie, from BOISE.

And he deserves tons of credit for the Avengers being so successful, that was a really fun story line beyond the special effects.

That’s hilarious. I remembered the Blount incident and knew Martin was from Boise St. but I didn’t put the two together til just now.

For the record, I don’t have any bias towards the Giants or Steelers. But I’m wondering how it was a bad call? From what I saw, the ball dislodged from Ben’s palm before he started the forward throwing motion.

It’s so weird. The media would not shut up about Cam Newtons all last year and then RGIII for the beginning of this season when it’s been Luck who has put up the better stats and more wins. He’s thrown for 300+ yards yards in half his games! He’s already tied the record for most 300+ yard games for a rookie and the season is only half way done… But I’m just not seeing the media hoopla over him like we did with those other two or the ad spots on TV.

I just don’t get it? Is it cause of his gross neck beard?
ITS REVERSE RACISM!!!
LOL. In a weird way it kind of is… They didn’t really hype up Dalton last year when he threw for 3,400 yards, 20 TD’s, went 9-7 and made the playoffs! It’s probably cause he’s a pasty ginger though?

I mean the guy is on pace to throw for 4,500+ yards, 19+TD’s and rush for 6+more TD’s but is getting no love cause he kind of looks like a mongoloid.

Maybe not blatant racism… But if you want publicity maybe just don’t look like a weirdo
This is probably a good thing for Luck, he can concentrate on playing the game instead of dealing with the media. Plus Washington is probably a bigger market than Indy.
Absolutely. Luck seems like the kinda guy who likes flying under the radar. Whoodu thunk the Colts would be 5-3?

The ball moved in his hand but was still under his control when his arm was moving forward.

Was it moving forward because he was “throwing” it or did he kind of “push” it forward with his hand?

The ball was clearly still being grasped by his hand. It squirted out at the end of the throwing motion.

Watch the slo-mo at the end.

I saw it live, it was very very close. Could have gone either way I think. At least they won so the call didn’t blow the game for them.

how can you say under control when the ball is kind of rotating sideways in his hand as he is throwing it forward? My point is you can’t really overturn that call given the whole ‘sufficient evidence’ thing.

actually this whole argument is moot. The tuck rule says:

NFL Rule 3, Section 22, Article 2, Note 2. When [an offensive] player is holding the ball to pass it forward, any intentional forward movement of his arm starts a forward pass, even if the player loses possession of the ball as he is attempting to tuck it back toward his body. Also, if the player has tucked the ball into his body and then loses possession, it is a fumble.[1]

So under the wording here, I guess it is the wrong call and Steel is right simply because my ‘ball dislodged from palm’ argument doesn’t even matter. In short, the tuck rule is god damn retarded IMO.

All praise Tom Brady and his 3 rings… Thank you.
