From what I hear he is a lazy bastard but has the tools to be a beast. The jets running game is awful with that being said I do not want another malcontent in Benson. I would take a gander at the recently cut Joseph addai
Timmy is just there to put pressure on sanchez to perform. One or two bad games and everyone will be calling for tebow. With red Ryan calling the shots its hard to take the jets seriously

I have no confidence in Greene, no burst just a plodding mediocrity…Addai while brittle has different facets to his game and what we need is an RB that can catch the ball out of the backfield…hes 29 I believe.
I also here that they may be bringing back Braylon Edwards which is worth a shot.

The Pats have a decent history in picking up older guys that were once seen as done and making them look 3 years younger. (Up until last year with ochostinko and albert.)
It isn’t like they cut Addai because they have a packed backfield. They want him, he just wasn’t there…
But whatever, the Jets are going to be a decent team that puts up a fight as long as the locker room stays together. But without winning the Division, the playoffs are going to be hard to get to. One Wildcard is going to the Ravens or Steelers, whichever doesn’t win their division.

Why do you think Marshal Faulk left when Manning took the reigns?
They ran the ball there to set up the pass, and if a RB is not carrying 20+ a game he is not going to be an outstanding back.

just assumed it was $$$ he was holding out before they traded him. Edge came in and had two 1500+ seasons then just couldnt stay healthy but looked as if he was ave about 350 carries a year when he was healthy
