Charlotte Observer posted this picture… Thoughts?
I don’t think it’s racist at all, but I think it’s a little unfair that they’d insult the guy who is going to be the future of your city.
who thinks that’s racist?
Ya I dont get the racist reference either. Unfair? Not at all. Look at his performance this season so far. When you are down 24pts and have been playing at best mediocre, you dont do the Superman shit when you run in for a touchdown. He doesnt deserve to do it. He needs to leave that crap to the WRs and just lead his team.
this should also be a lesson for arrogant athletes.
don’t do your Superman show when you’r getting crushed.
or
Don’t hop up and make a big deal about a huge hit your put on someone when getting spanked. Don’t make a big deal out of a tackle after someone just ran for 15 yards.

You just described Juniour Seau after pretty much every play lol. The guy was a great LB but his behaviour after even a routine play used to bug the shit out of me.
In hockey does the goal horn get quieter when the home teams scores, but is down by two in the third period?
Nope.
Cam can do whatever the fuck he wants. He clearly, CLEARLY doesn’t have the kind of offensive line and defensive support he did last year, their season is more on his shoulders now than it was a year ago. If he’s stoked, let him be stoked.
LT did his “I’m a little tea pot” move all the time too. The only real gentleman that handled scoring with quiet reverence that really comes to mind is Barry Sanders.

People on ESPN mentioned how some people think it’s racist cause his skin is white, guess ESPN was just looking for some bullshit to get ratings.
But I do agree that cam newton is playing like shit, but it’s only been three games. I just think it’s a little early for coming at him.
ESPN DID THE SAME SHIT JUST LAST YEAR!!! REMEMBER?
Here’s their contradiction:
For ESPN, their main audience in their assumption mst be knuckle dragging east coasters who need something to talk about on the job site.

Did anyone here catch South Park last night? Fucking hilarious. All about the concussion issue in the NFL.
Sarcastaball! Lots of hugs.

Okay, please god can we get better announcers on Thursday nights?
that’s why they are on the NFL network man. Mike Mayock is a joke lmao. First of all he doesn’t let his co-host talk. Secondly how many retarded things as he said… “don’t shoot the clown”… and a TD is worth 10 pts apparently.

Just you just try claim that the Panthers defense was competent last year? Because that was absolutely not the case. The entire season was Cam Newton last year as well.
Thought Weeden was very good tonight. Stood in the pocket strong against a terrifying defense all night. I called 23-13 Ravens, looks like the Browns are slightly better than I thought.

Looks like I’ll be the first to comment that the union refs shore nuf blew a call. A potentially important one.
I’m talking about the personal foul call on the Ravens’ Paul Kruger on the final drive of the game. What a complete joke. It was just a flop.
The replacement refs would’ve let it go and rightfully so.
Good point. We’ll certainly see less shitty calls, but people forget that we’re still going to see them every game for the most part. They just won’t be as bizarre, which kind of makes it a little less interesting in a way, I suppose. To the casual fan, anyways. Hell, bad calls have been a pretty integral part of some really famous moments in the NFL and some really big games.
There were a couple bullshit calls against Ronnie Lott late in the 4th quarter of the 1983 NFC Championship Game that cost the Niners the game. There was the Immaculate Reception, the Tuck Rule Game, a couple plays before Steve Young made that great throw to TO to end the NFC Divisional Playoff game against GB in 1998, Jerry Rice outright fumbled the ball and GB recovered and should have been able to take a knee from there one time and the game would be over. I could go on and on.
What kind of got under my skin about the MNF game, other than the horrible calls/non-calls at the end of the game, was all the whining GB did. The reality is that they should never have even been in position to lose on the final drive in the first place. Forget about how the drive was aided by the refs and then they just gave them the TD; it never should have been that close to begin with as far as GB should be concerned.
GB didn’t play well and as mediocre as they’ve looked so far, it’s not a talent issue but simply due to the fact that they don’t have very many pistons firing at the same time right now. If they came out and played a really good, solid game on both sides of the ball they win that game by 10 points at least. But they looked like shit on offense, and give Seattle credit since they have a legit D and played well, but GB has an elite offense that should be clicking better than it is right now with all their weapons at hand.
