As far as Newton, a lot of QB’s go through a sophomore slump. He needs to handle his demeanor a little better in post game interviews. He looked all depressed up there. It’s just one bad game, shake it off and move on.
Incredible Vikings/49ers game. Minny looks like a new team.

And my team an overrated one.

What team is that?
So according to the new officials, you can have unlimited challenges. Really pathetic. Harbaugh is so damn lucky.
Steelers about to get that W!
Again, the officiating was awful today. Skins got hosed on a pass int call that was not made, a fumble recovery where they weren’t allowed to return the ball and I don’t know WTF happened at the end where half the Bengals organiziation was on the field.
At what point will we NFL fans go on strike and make a point?
btw- this is nto just some Skins fan that is upset that his team lost. I’m hard on them, their D sucked bad today, but that does not excuse this BS we are putting up with.
Anybody just see the hit on DHB? Wow. Hope there’s no spinal damage on that one. The one on Schaub was also pretty out of control.
The number of vicious hits today is just unreal. They need to switch back to leather helmets. Seriously.

Ya know, I wonder if having a helmet simply made out of a thick rubber or something like memory foam but stiff would be better. Wouldn’t cause such a collision

Haha, really?

Haha, shit, that loss is embarrassing. Who loses to Carson Palmer… rough night for the Steelers.

Jesus Christ, it’s just one fucking game. Did you really think they’d go undefeated or come out on fire in every single game?

Calm down. You know Buster Posey aint’t winning MVP over McCutchen. j/k
Now back to the 49ers. A majority of my friends who hate the 49ers said they had a bad game and didn’t expect that the defense was the one to let them down. I didn’t think they were going to go undefeated, and with Thursday night games, I don’t think a team ever will. I just didn’t think Minnesota was the one that was going to beat us.
Personally I think Minnesota played great and handled our D line pretty well.
It’ll be fun in NY. Gotta get that pass rush back on track.

Posey will definitely win the MVP. It never goes to a guy in the midst of a downward spiral running concurrently with his team’s downward spiral.
This might be a really good thing for the Niners. I don’t think the team was necessarily falling for all the hype around them and that sort of thing. But this is clearly a wakeup call for them and I expect them to come out next week with some serious fucking vengeance. Someone is going to pay for this week’s shitfest and the Jets are it. I feel bad for the Jets, sort of.
Great game between the Ravens and Patriots.
Ed Reed still showing why he’s great on numerous plays.

Not only that, it was such an obvious letdown spot for SF after marquee matchups in Weeks 1-2.
You can’t be “up” for every opponent, that’s just Betting-on-NFL 101.
Props to Torrey Smith having a great game right after his brother died. Glad the Ravens pulled it out.

my friend told me that if one of your fantasy players has a baby or a death in the family, start him.

Fixed that for you.
That was the worst officiated game I have ever seen. So inconsistent. I can handle shitty, as long as they call the same shittyness all the time.

I saw a ton of bad officiated yesterday, worst of the season so far.
