I was disappointed that all the news headlines were on RG3 even though the Redskins LOST. Seattle always flies under the media radar, which makes it extra special when they do things like they are doing this year.

They definitely have a good shot against Atlanta and their horrible post season record.
You got an avatar picked out for me yet?

The Fauhawks are fucked without Clemons in there on defense. Bruce Irvin was a stud this year, but he really only played situationally in passing downs and his biggest knock coming into the season was that he’s horrible against the run. Now it looks like he’s going to have to play much more than he’s used to, in situations that are totally foreign to him. Atlanta likes to throw the ball around a lot, but I expect them to run right at Irvin every chance they get. It could be an issue for the Seagulls that has a domino effect along their entire line, sort of like when Justin Smith went down for the Niners. That’s what I’m hoping for anyways.
Pony up DB

Clemons is definitely a big loss because he is a fucking beast. Irvin is great on the pass rush, which is why they brought him in, but I’m curious to see what he will do as a full time guy.

It would be epic so see a 49er vs Seahawk rematch.

Edit: I agree DB, members of the Seattle defense don’t play with much class. But they are fucking good and they kick everyone’s ass. So at least their money is where their mouth is.

Oh fuck, that’s even worse than I anticipated. Okay, jjackrash bet with me first and as you can see, I’m sporting a picture of his dad for the next month. I’ll be using the one you posted for the month of February. I would offer to go double or nothing based on the outcome of the Atlanta game but I’m already committed to Farmerson now through March if the Niners lose to Green Bay this weekend. If you have the patience to wait for the second month to be April should the Niners lose this weekend I’ll go double or nothing with you for the Atlanta game.

And feel free to remind me toward the end of the month of my commitment to that fucking abomination of an avatar. I’m sure I won’t forget, but just in case. And since I’m too retarded to figure out how to pull that picture off this page can you tell me where you found it so I don’t have any excuses for not immediately going to it at the end of the month? What did you do, search Google for “Ripsaw’s father”?

You can google either “Ripsaw’s thuper uncle” or “gay unicorn man” either one works.

Why?

I’m starving for a SF-SEA rematch. That’s good football right there.
Good football to me is the Niners running roughshod over everyone in their path. I’m still having nightmares from the ass-raping the Fauhawks gave the Niners a few weeks ago. Completely ruined the holidays for me.

Besides, I want to see the Niners wipe the Falcons all over the field so that smarmy bastard, Pat, has to eat crow all offseason. I don’t like the Seagulls and I don’t want to see them win any games, period. They’re fucking classless, especially Richard Sherman. The guy is a fucking hophead who handles winning with about the same amount of class as I do, which is with no class at all. That little incident after the game yesterday was definitely instigated by him and the incident with Brady was equally classless. I wouldn’t expect a Seagulls player to behave after a win like he’s actually done it before, but still, at least TRY to act like it’s not the first playoff game you’ve ever won. The guy celebrates wins the way I used to celebrate victories in Monopoly when I was 8.
You will lose to the Packers. There will be no rematch.

Ah, I see you’ve changed your avatar back. Well, I’ve already bet an avatar on the game but I’m down if you can wait a couple months to collect on the bet if the Niners lose.

As it stands now I owe:

An avatar to jjackrash for the month of January
An avatar to Ripsaw for the month of February
An avatar to farmerson for the month of March IF the Niners lose

If you and I take this bet up I would owe you an avatar for the month of April if the Niners lose. Are you down to wait that long?

Of course, this means that if the Niners win this weekend you and farmerson would both be using a completely gay avatar of my choice for the next 30 days. With any luck, I take on every single Packers fan on the site, the Niners win and then there’s a couple dozen guys on here with avatars that are as queer as a three dollar bill.

That or you guys should go to a for-real sports book and put some real money down.
I am planning on doing that one day, maybe next year. Go to Vegas, bet on all the games and then sit there an watch them all day. The get pissed off and give the rest of my money to the blackjack dealer. Screw the kids’ college dreams, Daddy wants to play!

I’ve wanted to do the same thing for a long time as well, but I made a promise to myself that I would never risk any money on a sports wager ever again.

The reason: back in 2004 I was watching the ALCS between the Yankees and the Red Sox. Game 4, Yankees up three games to none with Games 6 and 7 in NY. I can’t remember what inning it was but it was late in the game, score tied, and the Red Sox get a runner on base and immediately send in Dave Roberts to pinch run. My buddy and I are watching the game while getting completely shit-faced at some shithole bar down the street from my house. We’ve both got about a gallon of Sierra Nevada in our stomachs when Dave Roberts goes and promptly steals second base, putting the go-ahead run in scoring position.

My buddy looks at me and says “That’s it. The Red Sox are going to win this series.” Roberts hasn’t even fucking scored yet and he’s saying this. So, after wiping the beer that I spewed out of my mouth off of my face, I look at him and sneer “Oh yeah? You wanna fucking BET on that?”

To make a short story that is getting long short again, I give him 10:1 odds and he throws a $10 bill on the bar. I shake his hand and the rest is history. The Yankees proceed to lose that game and every other fucking game in the series to become the first and only team to blow a 3-0 series lead in MLB postseason history. Those motherfuckers cost me $100.

Haven’t laid any cash on a game since.
