Tebow has been a good sport this whole season with the shit that occured in the QB debacle. I think he deserves to be alittle pissed off

And I absolutely think Jacksonville could benefit from Tebow. Both for revenue and attracting fans and possibly at the QB position. He cant be worse than Gabbert. Cant be.
I already emailed ESPN’s president demanding the firing of that old has-been half ass full back, who uses “anonynous” sources to attack a man’s character on a baseless accusations denied both by the player and the coach…
Handled it…
I am not the only one. There are numerous fire that limp dick websites, Merril Hoge for being a total douche.

It’s one thing to criticize his play, even if he went 8-1 with a play-off victory against SB favorites in the Steelers. It’s a whole other to attack a man’s character based on a story that was not true…
I hope he chokes himself on his badly tied triple-Winsor ties… Seriously, it’s not the '70’s anymore…

Yes, I really did email the president of ESPN directly. I know how to find email addresses when I want to.
If you post the President of ESPNs email address on here for us I will use whatever avatar you want me to use for the entire month of March AND April.

It’s not rocket science. If I know your first and last name and where you work I can figure out your email address. Just go to the main corporate pages of any company and look how the email addresses are structured. It’s only a minute set of possibilities. It took me 3 tries to figure it out.

This is why I am not on facebook or anyplace where my first and last name are public and what I do and where are do it are not anywhere on the internet publicly. When you are the president of a company, your shit is public.

Right there with you. I was listening to a segment on NFL Network today going through his career and then the Superbowl he won… of course they don’t mention a thing of the events that transpired after the Superbowl.

Anyways, yes he has been fun to watch but I’m glad to see him gone.
Wait, what happened after the Super Bowl? I just assumed he was a murderer because he’s black.
He was around, but he didn’t kill anybody. His crew had some involvement of some sort. But to his credit, he completely straitened out after that. So I have forgiven him. I would like to play Monopoly with him…He apparently loves that game, as do I.
Well, what do you know? I TOO love a rousing game of Monopoly. We should find a way to play each other online sometime.

edit: I’ll play you for avatars
Yo, shut the fuck up dogg.

C’mon, we’re talking about one of the best linebackers to ever play the game.

How many people can say you’re one of the most inspirational players to ever set foot in an NFL locker room? How many people can say that you’re universally respected by your peers?

You would never say anything bad about Ray Lewis in front of his face. You’d probably turn into the `little bitches’ you’re belittling for having admiration for Ray Lewis.

Ray “In the Air Tonight” Lewis.

I would most DEFINITELY say shit in front of Ray Lewis if the opportunity presented itself. What do I care if he smashes my face in? I don’t like him and getting my teeth knocked down my throat in exchange for being able to say that when I had the chance I didn’t shrink in fear and cop out like a bitch is a VERY small price to pay. Not to mention, he’d most likely end up paying my dental bill and then some anyways.

But I can tell you right now that you WOULD shrink in the face of a bigger person simply because you fear physical harm being done to you. You’re projecting.

Add me to this…the only thing I have is my word, I bet you he would probably respect me more for telling him what I honestly think than the usual “your so awesome Ray” cum guzzling jockers that he usually encounters.

No one is saying he is not one of the greatest of all time, what we are saying is his admiration goes beyond the football field and it shouldn’t. Now he will be a talking head, he already has a job lined up…wonderful.

He’s an emotional guy, he’s been through a lot.

Honestly, I’m surprised you don’t respect him more Matty, didn’t you do some time yourself?

To me, your guys’ sentiment is parallel to the hate Kobe Bryant still gets by being called a “rapist.” There’s some similarities between Kobe and how Ray Lewis is viewed by some (the devil’s advocate bunch). Both are one of the best athletes in their respective sport and both were initially booked on serious offences - rape (Kobe) and murder (Lewis). However, both were cleared of wrong-doing on those heinous charges and while Ray Lewis may have actually committed a crime (by association), both men have taken long journeys of redemption that has seen them become better people.

I see this too with Michael Vick. Look at the Lomas Brown/Scott Mitchell situation now.

Redemption is a strong word but I believe Ray Lewis truly redeemed himself. I judge him for who he is today and that’s a LEADER of men.

Good gosh, get some perspective. As much as I love football, in the end, it’s just a GAME. His “leadership” made no real difference in the world.

I don’t think anyone is talking about Ray Lewis making the world a better place. But he is an all-time great and inspirational player, as evidenced by public sentiment and that of his peers especially.

“…as evidenced by public sentiment and that of his peers especially.” Are you for real?

Justin Bieber has received quite a bit of accolades from his peers and the public sentiment, in the form of massive record sales, basically backs up the praise he receives from many of his peers. Does that mean he’s actually a good artist? Of course not! He makes shit music because, for some unknown reason, most of the record-buying public eats up that kind of diarrhea people call music. If public sentiment and acknowledgement from peers makes people good at what they do or worthy of praise or whatever the fuck it is you’re trying to say Lewis deserves, then Britney Spears would be the best musical artist of the 21st century. But we all know that isn’t the case.

The fact that he IS an inspirational player for so many out there is what Matty, myself and others get sick to our stomachs over. As Hunter S. Thompson said, and I’m paraphrasing here, in world of thieves the only final sin is being stupid enough to get caught. Since he got off with a slap on the wrist and snitched on his “friends” he essentially got away with it. And since he got away with it, there are many out there who act as if it never happened.

You know who else got away with it? Nixon got away with it, OJ got away with it and apparently Ray Fucking Lewis got away with it.

I’ve done some pretty fucked up shit in my life and I’ve gotten away with almost all of it. I certainly have gotten away with the worst of my crimes. Does the fact that I’m one helluva fucking blackjack and Monopoly player (and serve as an inspiration to those who I DOMINATE at those two games) make me a better person? Fuck no. I’m just some fucking asshole who got away with it. Why is Ray Lewis any different?

So back to important things. Playoffs. Leave the TMZ shit for another thread please gentleman.

I got:

Texans > Bengals
Green Bay > Vikings
Ravens > Colts
Seahawks > Foreskins

San Fran V Seattle is going to be a crusher too. No telling how many dudes are going to limp off the field.

One thing I think the NFL landscape tends to forget is the Carroll - Harbaugh rivalry stretching back to the Pac-10 days.

Those two don’t like each other.

Their teams don’t either.

It’s goona be fuckin fun.
