NFL 2011 Season Starts Now

I just want to remind everyone that MattyXL still owes me an avatar change for the bet he lost last season, which I will redeem at the beginning of the NFL season.

I am 100% open to suggestions, but am also hoping the IronDwarf can whip something up for me…

Breaston to KC, interesting, a very underrated receiver, did well last year considering the awful QB situation in zona last year.
Very interesting. Big fan of Breaston. Kansas City will have the AFC West strapped for awhile unless San Diego fixes their huge problems.
I’m going to disagree with that. I’m a huge Chargers fan, but I think it will be a three horse race between the Chiefs, Chargers, and Raiders. Don’t forget the Raiders swept the AFC west last season.

The Chargers huge offensive problems were everybody was hurt last year, but they still did fine. Special teams can be fixed with a crop a new 3rd and 4th stringers.

I think the Chargers will win the division this year, Chiefs come in second. The Raiders will continue to be the Raiders, looks like they will fail to resign any of their big FA. Jason Campbell is very average and has no one to throw the ball to outside of Zach Miller. Their front 7 is good but their secondary will take a big step back this year.

Is that my Uncle?

Reggie Bush in a sign and trade (they do that in football?) to the fish. This is great news for me, I was worried that I would have to see ahmad bradshaw in a fish uniform. Now I just have to worry about Bush for 4 games and then Im sure hell be out for the year.

How much you want to bet that Marion Barber ends up with the fish also, that might be a fun backfield to watch.

How long until McNabb fucks up and the put in Ponder?

How long until Hasselbeck gets hurt and they put in Locker?

Does T. Jackson win the starting job at Seattle?

I will bet my avatar that the Texans make it to the playoffs.

Because frankly, if they don’t, I’ll be too pissed to care.

Jason Babin signs with the egirls.

Bush deal is complete he is a Fin.

Who thinks B Edwards will go to the Vikes now that they lost Rice?

I’ll take my Packers to the SB again, but not taking it. However, I say they take it if (in no particular order):

 1. Jermichael Finley stays healthy
 2. They keep James Jones
 3. O-Line protects Rodgers better
 4. Defense plays 90% as well as they did last year.

Basically, too many “ifs” for me to call the win. They won’t be able to overcome all the shortcomings like they did last year.

^ Who knows with this year, never been a year like this in league history. For the first time ever teams will actually have to spend money to be competitive with the Cap Floor. Teams that have returning coaches and small turnover are going to do the best this year.

Anybody else think there will be some major blow outs?

This has been the best offseason ever. This crazy FA period that we’re in right now is awesome! I love all these panicked moves made all within a few days. There should be a lockout every year!

Greg are you ignoring your PM’s or do you not get them?

^^i just got yours and beans PM’s this morning. I’m on my phone now and it’s hard to respond to PMs until I’m on my laptop. I’ll hit you up with my email when I get home from the gym… I’m not ignoring you guys lol

And I agree with Brad… Vincent Jackson is a douche! I still think the chargers WAAAAAAY overpaid for weddel, even though I really like him as a player and my buddy who played for the chargers said he was a really cool guy.

^ Cool

dont care if he is a douche off the field, its not like Lawrence Taylor was feeding the homeless.
