Hahahaha, wow. Luck here we come.
Not surprised in the slightest. Its a shame because they dont have a bad receiver squad at all. I dont understand why they didnt look into either a hopeful FA or draft pick this year. Do you think they are playing to get Luck next year WC?
I will need to adopt another team this year though.
Detroit is a team I have always admired. The fans are committed and the players play harder than some other teams. If the Packs ceased to exist this season, they would be my go to team. The Bills arent far behind them.

Really? You would pick a division rival?
Sure. It really doesnt bother me. At the same time though, I cant stand either the Vikes or Bears and that may be for the reason you mentioned.
Shut yo mouth!!! youre a texan that roots for the packers, noone likes you!!!

Lol. When it comes to football, not far from the truth. Hated by Cowboy fans as well.
Man I just saw Cam Newton play yesterday and I have to say I am impressed. Cam stood out on the field like a Mexican at a Tea Party rally, I just couldn’t help notice him work in the pocket. I was really impressed with how he handled the pressure and all the plays the defence was throwing at him. Now I know it’s early days (like WAY early) but I have a feeling (and I had this feeling when I said he would go number one when no one thought he was going number one) he’s the next big thing coming to the NFL. There’s already pretty clear signs of a transition from the traditional QB role to the more athletic, versatile-type football player that can do a number of things effectively well.
Honestly, CN has so much potential - I just hope they (whoever the fuck “they” are) don’t fuck him up like they fucked up JaMarcus Russell. Still breaks my heart to see talent like that get wasted.

Russell was a horrible person off the field. No work ethic, refused to be helped by the numerous top notch mentors that attempted to support him, and was addicted to drugs.
That is far different from Newton, and I think it’s one of the biggest indicators of success. Work ethic and drive. Russell had none, Newton has a ton.
Green Bay lost 27-17 to Cleveland last night but what needed to be seen was seen. Backup QB Flynn looked impressive as always. I feel comforted that if Rodgers goes out, we have a backup that can take care of the job(look at last years game against New England).
3rd string QB Harrell look plain awful. I understand he is 3rd string but wow his pass completion was poor. The big news was rookie WR Randall Cobb. He looked fantastic. His patterns were very fluid and you can tell he is a quick thinker with great hands.

Yea I got to watch this game on NFL Network. Rodgers looked great, so did McCoy as well. Grant looked healthy, not I just want to see what Finley can do.
I think Flynn will be next years Kevin Kolb, with a lot of teams gunning for him.

x2. McCoy looked real good. Glad to see Cleveland have someone they can depend on. I wish Finely would have taken a few snaps. I believe GB has one of the best TE lineups in the game. Dependable backups.
I read on rotoworld that the Pats may cut one or both Ochocinco and Haynesworth before the regular season…I wonder if this is just to light a fire under Haynesworth’s fat ass…
Cam Newton looked very good yesterday I agree, one thing I did notice and the commentators did bring it up is that he is definitely more comfortable outside the pocket than inside.

I saw that too. I definitely don’t think they will cut Chad, I even doubt they will cut Haynesworth without seeing him in the regular season unless he is behaving like a total cunt in camp. Which is certainly a possibility.

I read this:
Albert Haynesworth - DL - Patriots
ESPN Boston’s Mike Reiss isn’t buying speculation that Albert Haynesworth or Chad Ochocinco could be released to send a message to the Patriots locker room.
Reiss points out the obvious, that the National Football Post was simply passing along one person’s speculation rather than a report. Ochocinco has already received a $4.5 million signing bonus in New England, and coach Bill Belichick has been pleased with Haynesworth’s approach “by all accounts.” This is a non-story.

Chad isn’t going on the field without brady, welker and the other first teams.
Haney’s knees are garbage and he has been having shots in them.
Now on to the Jets pre-season matchup tomorrow which Im sure beans will want an update on. Im usually pretty ho hum about pre season but this year is a little different, Im gonna be intrigued by watching the following players:
Vladimir DuCasse - Both Brandon Moore and Nick Mangold arent playing so Im hoping he shows me something
Jeremy Curley - Supposedly having a great camp, the wr corp is pretty old, so he may be thrusted into the spotlight at some point.
Muhammad Wilkerson - Already named a starter, will be excited to see what he could do.
Bilal Powell - Supposedly a hard runner which I like, curious about him as I dont watch college football.
Should be very interesting tonight if for only keeping Sanchez uprt. Semi-makeshift O line, & no Burress. W/Brunell out, we’ll see a lot of the kid from Ala. McElroy. The offense has sucked Beans old nut-sack thus far in camp.
Really wanna see the def. w/Wilkerson & Kendricks. Supposedly they make it look like men amongst boys so far.
I’m w/you on Kerley thing Matty. Word is he is lighting it up & a complete burner. He’ll have plenty of chances tonight, w/punt returns, kick-offs, & playing the slot in 3 down sets.
Revis is playing like he did in 09’. Has completely shut down anyone he has covered & intercepted passes each day of camp.

Won’t win in the playoffs without it, so I sure as shit hope so
I think Woodhead is a good change of pass back, but you cant establish a run with him. Didnt they pick somebody else up? Brain not working yet after the workout this morning.
