49ers just signed Carlos Rodgers this morning, the DB from Auburn who played for the 'Skins. Not a huge signing, but good to see that we at least got someone to step in for Nate Clements.
He is definitely the best corner left at that position. Will be good to have him with Spencer and Brown.
So who is going to win the battle for #1 pick in draft of 2012 Raiders or Carolina?
So far, Raiders. Carolina may surprise us…but just alittle bit
I dont see Carolina winning a game in their own division. This is going to equate to more losses outside of their division. Al Davis has gone FUCKING crazy.

True. I just havent seen any transactions with the Raiders that made me think “Wow. They are on to something”. Their defense is looking poor and they are now in a solid division. I believe San Diego and Kansas will stay strong. I dont know man. Its just way too early to say.

Wimberly and Route, who and the fuck are these two that you pay big money to? NO other team in the NFL would pay Route 10 million a year. That left them no money to offer Miller, there only consistent offensive weapon.
Carolina has signed its own and added a few weapons, however they still have no pass rusher and QB with proven merit. Atlanta, Saints, Tampa Bay have all stayed the same or gotten better this offseason.
Before the Raiders find a replacement for TE Zach Miller, they have to get under the salary cap. They have about $10 million to clear
See like this are you fucking kidding me, who the hell do you have that makes you over the cap. Nnamdi is gone.
Ah ha ha ha. The Raiders suck, clearly they are being punished for having a decent season last year. Here’s to another decade of the Raiders being useless.

Its truly sad. Al Davis is just as worthless as Mike Brown, if not worse. I cant understand how you can be a Raider fan. Its one thing if they are lagging for awhile like the Lions but this is a different situation.
Rob Ryan is an idiot for calling out the Eagles. Even his brother is that dumb to call a team out who can whip your ass.
Its football, I would rather have this than that typed out coach speak.
Well Im not surprised to here Rob say it and youre right, thats football. He should have waited an extra week or two to start calling teams out. We just started training camps!

Man you know how long its been since Dallas has had a coach that has some balls. I mean Parcells gave me hope when he took this team. I went through a bunch of scrubs after Jimmie Johnson left. If he can get that defense to act like a real defense I will kiss his ass.

I don’t think it’s ever good for a coach to be calling out other teams. If the Eagles whoop up on the Cowboys twice he is going to look like an idiot.

It is a possibility or it could inspire his own players to protect his reputation by winning for him. This is entertainment to me, its a business to most of the NFL, when we get a coach that still treats it like a game, I get pumped up about it.

I agree with DJ, as long as it’s the other teams’ coach.
From the Star magazine. Strungout this is what and why I am excited.
“We had an interview. I believe he came in on a Friday,” Garrett says. “He came into my office and he had on a coat and tie and his hair was nicely combed. He looked good. But we started talking football and about three minutes into our conversation I’d never seen a guy who wanted to get out of a coat and tie more than this guy and so I said, ‘Rob just take the thing off,’ so literally he went ‘boom’ and got rid of the tie, grabbed a pen and started going on the board. And it didn’t take long. I was impressed by the effort. I was impressed by the coat and tie and I was equally as impressed of him getting rid of it and getting going and really being who he is.”
Rob was hired a couple of days later, and started to go about picking up the pieces on that defense, trying to remake it, trying to get everybody to quit mopin’ around like the sad sack bunch they had been the year before. They needed some aggression, he figured, some confidence, and there ain’t nobody that’s as confident as a Ryan.

Beans you have the ultimate coach though, he has established a program, Dallas has Al Davie Jr as the owner. We never know WTF is going to happen. So if we can get coaches that can produce and turn this team around I am ready to rumble.

Exactly what I was thinking. I like it as long is it comes from the other side of the field.
That said, it is good for football overall though, especially, in this case. The media is just about ready to cancel the season and send Philly the Lombardi.

He said it means “Believe in yourself, which I have no problem doing.” If you don’t have a problem with self-confidence, then why mark up your whole freakin’ leg to remind you of self-confidence. Cracks me up.
