NFL 2011 Part III

This may only intrest me but James Harrisons hit on Decker was brutal but according to the rules clean. He will no doubt make himself look like an idiot by saying “see, I hit him low just like you wanted commish and now he is out for the playoffs instead of just nursing a headache for a couple days” or something like that. I love the guy but he talks out of his ass at times. [/quote]

I found it very interesting at the time. Now I don’t give a fuck.

Pittsburgh was completely outclassed and only tied the game because of a HORRIBLE call by the officiating crew. Everyone in the stadium except the official with the best view of the action got the call right on that backwards pass to Wallace.

Bet you a million dollars that NE will refuse any WR to run a left to right crossing route behind the LB’s at all.

Can’t believe it went down like that, but it was fun to see.

As for New Orleans. Either their OL’s are dominant or Detroits DL was overhyped all year. They only got to Brees once or twice where it mattered. Pierre and Sproles looked like BIGTIME RB’s. I was all kinds of impressed. NO-GB is going to be a dang awesome game.

If it happens. NE vs any of those two would be great as well.

I don’t know, I thought Detroit’s D line looked good considering how fast brees gets teh ball off at times. He took more hits that game than I’ve seen him take in a while.

Hopefully my team can beat NO. SF vs GB would be better for me.

Giants vs Niners in the upsets of the century!

The Giants winning would in no way surprise me (unless they blew GB out)

They’re playing great right now.

How do you expect a qb that threw for 957 total yds this yr to hang w/one who threw for over 5k? I love the front 7 of the Niner’s but that secondary is going to struggle all day.

What’s the weather supposed to be like?

So you think the Giants will pull this one out in GB?

This will be a shootout and GB is rested, so far every home team has won this Playoff season, I dont see it changing 2nd round.

Alex Smith threw for over 3,000 yards.

SF has the 4th best overall defense in the NFL (#1 against the run) and has caused 38 TO’s and have 42 sacks. They’ll pressure Brees and get after him. People aren’t giving SF a chance but I think that there aren’t a lot of people who have watched a lot of SF games.

How well have the Saints done on the WC? How did that work out for them last year?

^ I see GB winning by 14. Though I did just read where the OC of GB son is missing. So who knows what that does to ones game-plan.

I like the way the Giants have played as of late, but w/the release Rodgers has, I’m not sure how big a deal the pass-rush will ultimately be. Plus Rodgers has the ability to scramble better than most.

I’ll be really interested in seeing the game-plan Den. uses this week. Yesterdays plan was brilliant. They knew the safeties would get sucked down in the run game. If Tebow could just manage to throw the mid-range ball he might just be dangerous. I do think NE’s secondary can be torched if Den plays the rt game.

I say GB by 10-14 sounds about right, Rogers is just on another level this year. Giants have looked awesome, made the NFC east look better than it was. I just dont think they can go TD for TD with GB

not good and the Saints arent really a good road team. The way the Niners run the ball I think it’ll be a good game. The only thing that has been holding SF back this year is their inability to score TD’s in the redzone some times. They get so many damn field goals because they just F it up some times. Hopefully they’ve worked on that during the bye week (im sure they have) and I bet Harbuagh has something special lined up for NO

If the Giants can run the ball against GB like they did this week (where the hell has that been all season?) and can keep pressuring the QB like they have I think they’ll play a game more similar to the GB & KC game than the GB & Detroit game.

^ 3 point game with 49’s just figuring out how to win.

HA! I know Greg. It was a joke…

& you’re rt about the run & their def. They are definitely tops in the league. It’s their secondary & the fact they can’t score in the red zone that leads me to believe that NO will win.
