WC I dont know man, did you guys play up? Or did Dallas play down? Or are both of these teams really in a rebuilding faze?

Going to be a long season.
We played up the first half, you played up the second half, and if Romo really led that comeback with a punctured lung, I’ll respect him forever.

Apparently teams that start 0-2 fail to make the playoffs 88% of the time. Kinda makes you think doesn’t it…

I don’t think it about leading the sweepstakes, I think Cassel is a fine QB. How’s the lines though? If your lines suck so does your back field. No QB is good it they have to run for their lives every snap.
Cassell is a shit QB, and Haley is an even shittier coach. Sorry, Kansas City!

That game was a big yawn.

If I were you, I would be legitimately rooting, and rooting hard for the worst record in the league. Alex Smith is a putz, and besides 52 and a few other players, you guys need a COMPLETE overhaul. Better hope Harbaugh has some tricks up his sleeve.

What ever happened to Crabtree? I don’t get to see many 9ers games over here, but I really haven’t heard much about Michael since his NFL inception. I like to stick my nose in all the other teams’ business, too.

Dude. And what else did I hear? “It’s too early to tell what the long-term implications are.”

Fuck. Neck injuries are serious… I really hope him all the best. The dude is too much of a playmaker. Peprah had better be ready to repeat his SB performance this entire year.

BTW, with each passing game I get a little more disheartened about Green Bay. I hate all this pre-season anointing they’ve gotten, it’s really scary. As much as you know it pains me to say, I still think Chicago is the toast of the North, and Detroit scares the shit out of me. Not only are their good pieces playing well, but their weak areas, O-Line and “back 7” are over-achieving. It’s like they think they’re a real NFL team or something.

I don’t get teams that play a 4-3 base but blitz the living hell out of the offense every other play, seriously. Seems really, easily beatable if you have a QB who can hot read.

I don’t like the Giants, but it’s disappointing to see all their injuries this year. If they had a full and healthy defense, I’d put them down as one of the top units in the league, EASILY.

Can’t say I like what they’re cooking down there in St. Louis, personally. They need receivers. Amendola is a cute and fun little story, but he’s no big time WR and he’s no Welker, as much as people want to try to draw the arbitrary “white receiver lines” to.

Dude have you seen the Rams schedule for their first 7 games? They got royally fucked when the schedule came out. Obviously they already played the Eagles and Giants. After that they play the Ravens, Redskins, Packers, Cowboys, and then the Saints. What idiot came up with that schedule. They don’t play their first division game until week 9. I can see them being 0-7 when they first play Arizona.

Vick gets injured at the end of the 3rd with a reasonable lead and the Eagles go on to lose. I don’t give a shit about how good the other QB played, Vick going out was the reason the Falcons won. Vick is the leader of the Eagles, when he went down I’d wager a lot of the dudes on the team lost something mentally, hence the loss.

Who gives a fuck?

You are a bandwagon fan that pokes his head in these threads every year riding the nuts of the “hot” team.

No one cares about Vick, outside of Steely and he doesn’t post in here because he is too busy throwing metal objects at Santa Claus.

Crabtree has an injured foot and is being a gigantic diva about it. His work ethic and attitude are very poor.

As far as Smtih goes? I completely agree, he’s just not good.

I’ve been sending handwritten letters to Luck everyday asking him to agree to pull an “Eli Manning” next year, meaning that no matter what team drafts him, he will force a trade to the 49ers. Watch it happen.

Its confirmed he had a pneumothorax I dont know the size, could be small however his breathing had to be affected by it. Plus just normal breathing and walking will fucking hurt with rib fractures.

Romo has now earned my respect for as long as he wears the star.

True but no team can sustain that amount of injuries twice in a row. Our defense may start looking like New England’s.

Yes I have done it several times. Unless rules have changed, you are required to if you want to get hired onto any department in the nation.

That’s a shame. I guess the way he entered the league kind of signifies what kind of player he became, then? lol

And awesome, hahaha. To be fair, I’m really hoping Luck goes to San Fran for a pretty selfish reason; I really feel like Aaron Rodgers would bolt for the 49ers when his contract is up in GB, and they still didn’t have a franchise quarterback.

Bring on the Luck!

By the way, I was watching First Take this morning and they reminded me of something I saw last night.

That insane bullshit where two Giants defenders just magically collapsed with “injuries” during the Rams’ efficient no-huddle drive. I find it offensive that professionals acted in such a manner, and I sincerely hope that the Giants receive a hefty fine for pulling that kind of shit.

Anyone else agree?

Our line is a bit suspect. Outside of Lilja its quite underwhelming. Albert is average, Barry Richardson is crap, Wiegmann is prehistoric and Jon Asamoah is very green. While their play undoubtedly is hampering Cassel he is also playing crap. He doesn’t have a commanding presence and everytime he drops back I can barely watch for fear of an INT. That said I’m not ready to give up on him yet.
So what happened between this year and last? What I saw of KC, they looked pretty strong. But even the highlights this year are cringe worthy.

Okay Pat what are your thoughts now about Stafford?

I still stand by he is the real deal.
I must concede he’s looking great right now.

I guess Vick pointed at the scoreboard a bit too early.
Yep! He sure did…From where I was sitting, I wasn’t sure he shot another bird at the crowd. Last time he got boo’d he flipped the crowd off. I was like no way!
For the record, I think I can speak for most Falcon’s fans, we weren’t booing Vick, per se, we were more booing the Vick fans. This is Falcon’s country and he ain’t a Falcon. More over, because he was selfish and stupid he really, really killed our team for a couple of years. I don’t begrudge him, I love to watch him play, but if he’s in my house, I want him to lose hard. The Vick fans in Atlanta act like he got a raw deal…Bullshit, he gave us a raw deal.

I am not happy he was hurt, but I was glad he was out of the game and that he did it on his own player. We don’t have the stigma of a dirty hit clouding our victory…

Nevertheless, I was sooooo happy we won. We looked really bad on some plays on both sides of the ball, but we pulled it out. Gonzo had a monster game. The one handed catch in the end zone was amazing. But we could not protect the outside lanes…They were killing us with the screens.
But we beat the dream team!!! Wooohooo!
Yeah man congrats, besides the Pats and Fish there is no team I hate more than the iggles, and now with vick at the helm it gives me so much more to hate! Tony G was amazing a true first ballot HOFer, wish he had a shot at the superbowl…maybe this year?
We still have some cleaning up to do. D still looks a little slow and sloppy. We have to close those outside lanes. O is still trying to figure out how to stretch the field but yes, I think we can have the conversation. NO and GB look mid-season though and we play GB in 3 weeks…Hopefully Seattle will give us a chance to test the offense down field and we can be ready for GB. I feel though, if we could beat the dream team we can beat GB. But I think GB is better than the Eagles with Vick health…A bunch of stars does not a team make. Rogers is a freak.

It doesn’t matter, we get the W and that’s all that matters. Eagles get an A for effort, but that doesn’t count in the bigs.
