This is a reason why the NFL replay on the NFL network is so awesome. A three hour plus game gets turned into an hour and a half. Granted there are still commercial breaks, but not nearly as bad.

also… Redzone is cool and all but I find myself enjoying football much more with just watching an entire game straight-through, which is why I love SNF/MNF. After watching 6 hours straight of Redzone each Sunday, I tend to feel a little brain-damaged afterwards, where I need to go outside and take my dog outside for a walk or something, lol.

Can’t remember which record it was, but #4 broke a record during a game and shortly thereafter he was on the sidelines. Rogers congratulated him, and Brett said (as he stuck out his hand) “Put’er in the ol’ vice!”
Before he gave him a genuine handshake.
But it was kind of a “go on ahead and top that one kid…” kind of moment. I must have had dozens of moments like that with my brother, I know exactly how that feels.
I’m a big enough fan of #4 to know which era I liked him best. Which season impressed me the most. The moment I knew he was something special and the moment I knew he was the best there might ever be.
So his downfall and the whole mess with the Jets and the Vikings and losing to NO in the NFC Championship via interception bummed me out. I was really hoping he’d stay under the radar.

You have to take into account where I live. When you do that you’ll realize I get no clear radio stations at all and the ones that are marginal are Canadian. Even in town I’m pretty sure none of the local stations broadcast SNF. Had Sirius for awhile and that did work for game audios but have canceled the service.[/quote]

I have the serius online script along with my car, hell its only $2 more a month for the online.
He is the master of the obvious when it comes to commentary. I think the NFL network keeps him around just to make fun of him when the camera’s are shut off and for office pranks.
Kitna’s too old and prone to mistakes, that’s why he’s a back-up. Coming into a game that’s already started he’s allright.
Fuck DJ, this season for the Boy’s has been a meatgrinder already, and that’s just in the press lol.
