NFL 2011 Part II

Eh, I don’t like it. (sorry.) It’s pretty ameteur “breakdown” of plays. Especially if you watch First Take and have been seeing the way Mangini has been breaking down plays lately. IMO!
- Asomugha skill set does not fit the slot, He’s long + fluid but does not have the short area quickness + change of direction needed to defend the “2 way go” that slot receivers have; Asomugha needs the sideline
Juan Castillo is a fucking moron, THAT much I can deduce from gametape, haha. Taking Nnamdi out of his element in any way is stupid and silly. I don’t care if you want to run a zone defense… Nnamdi should be 1-on-1 on the perimeter every damn play.

One of the, wihtout a doubt, biggest cocksuckers on the face of planet earth.

Fuck that dude.

 • Vick 24 yds on 3rd + 14 in 2nd quarter was classic Vick: He left the pocket with no pressure whatsoever, missing opportunity to hit wide open Avant for what would have been a 30-35 yd play but then ran for 24 yds, beating the spy Willis
 • Asomugha skill set does not fit the slot, He’s long + fluid but does not have the short area quickness + change of direction needed to defend the “2 way go” that slot receivers have; Asomugha needs the sideline
 • Vick very little sense of how his QB drop must synch up with the depths of the receivers routes, Thatâ??s why an OL will never look good playing in front of Vick but Vick is so special athletically he can at times compensate - Harbor 16 yd TD a great example
 • What continues to impress about Newton is his pocket command + willingness to make stick throws into tight windows. Newton maintains his downfield focus when he moves, He has shown the ability to throw downfield effectively off movement
 • Cutler’s mechanics are still terrible: Bad footwork, Throws off balance; Really shows up on routine throws - Too much inconsistency + erratic play, Too much of a week-to-week QB
 • Helu not a comfortable zone scheme runner at this point, Compared to Torain he looked slow + uncertain
 • Steelers “power” run game was consistently blown up in the 1st half by NT with quick penetration to prevent LG Kemoeatu from pulling
 • Texans cumulative pressure got Roethlisberger playing fast + perceiving pressure, Frenetic movement caused him not to see wide open Ward within design of route combination on 3rd + 9 in 4th quarter - It became a random play + Ward took a vicious shot
 • Foster 42 yd TD a great cut back zone run, Polamalu has to make that tackle
 • Ryan not a confident QB right now, Not willing to throw it down the field unless it’s clearly defined
 • Ryan an erratic intermediate to downfield thrower, Not consistently accurate, Misses some throws that are there
 • Falcons played a lot of “cover 3” to the Seahawks 2x1 sets, I’m not sure you’ll see that as much v. the Packers because of Rodgers ability to throw seam balls
 • Nelson 50 yd TD was great design, Play action boot by Rodgers out of straight “I”; Nelson ran a post/corner/post on S Dawkins â?? Same play as Jennings 49 yd TD v. Panthers 2 weeks ago
 • Packers on 2nd series showed an “amoeba” look out of dime sub-package with 6 players all standing almost single file between the offensive guards

Ahh yes that peter puffer Cosell fuck that dick lol

This is another consequence of kickoffs going back to the 35

Now its basically scoring play - commercial break for review - score allowed + PAT - commercial break - kickoff - touchback - commercial break - 1st and 10 from the 20

So yeah, its nothing nice.
This is a reason why the NFL replay on the NFL network is so awesome. A three hour plus game gets turned into an hour and a half. Granted there are still commercial breaks, but not nearly as bad.

so how bout dat Jay Cutler…

da Bears… daaa Bears…

totally agree. I didn’t realize how much Collinsworth annoyed me until Sunday.

The MNF guys are much better.

also… Redzone is cool and all but I find myself enjoying football much more with just watching an entire game straight-through, which is why I love SNF/MNF. After watching 6 hours straight of Redzone each Sunday, I tend to feel a little brain-damaged afterwards, where I need to go outside and take my dog outside for a walk or something, lol.

QFT.

My Sundays rock along with NFL Sunday Ticket and RedZone. Then that fucking NBC music and that little pencil neck Ben Rothelsgobble nutt sack riding Collinsworth comes on. Hate that guy.

Then one play, commercial, one play, commercial, no play just show that Skinny emaciated I couldnt evaluate Salma Hayek’s ass Collinsworth ugly fucking mug talking about how awesome Tom Brady’s hair looks as he sasha’s across the dance floor, then commercial.

If it is not a good matchup up fuck it I will play Rage or watch a movie.

…Plus, Collinsworth said “dong”

Have any of yall heard Favre’s comments on Rodgers? The douche needs to go back to his rocker. His popularity is taking hits after hits because of dumb shit like this. Whether he meant to sound negative or not, he did and he should had known better.

Yeah, he sound’s like a real douche bag…I have caught glimpses of that before, but my wife thinks he’s hot so she defends him to the death. He’s not a dopey lovable country boy, he is super arrogant and I don’t think he would be ok if Rogers beats his records…

I’m not going to defend Favre.

I still think he was a magic man who played himself into legendary status, but he shouldn’t be in front of a microphone or on a radio show from here on out.

There’s definitely a little brother complex gonig on with him and Rogers. He won’t ever say that Rogers is the better QB, ever. I’m not sure why reporters and radio shows are trying to get him to.

Yea I just dont understand the Favre thing.

Hello he is retired so is Carlson Palmer.

We have real football going on now, Ed Werder needs to find another guy to stalk.

He doesn’t do himself any favors when he does…

If they weren’t playing in Atlanta Sunday, I’d root for Rogers just to piss him off.

Look for me, section 343, I’ll be the drunk guy yelling…

Can’t remember which record it was, but #4 broke a record during a game and shortly thereafter he was on the sidelines. Rogers congratulated him, and Brett said (as he stuck out his hand) “Put’er in the ol’ vice!”

Before he gave him a genuine handshake.

But it was kind of a “go on ahead and top that one kid…” kind of moment. I must have had dozens of moments like that with my brother, I know exactly how that feels.

I’m a big enough fan of #4 to know which era I liked him best. Which season impressed me the most. The moment I knew he was something special and the moment I knew he was the best there might ever be.

So his downfall and the whole mess with the Jets and the Vikings and losing to NO in the NFC Championship via interception bummed me out. I was really hoping he’d stay under the radar.

But, nope.

You have a radio right? Just put the tv on mute and listen to the radio broadcast of the game.
You have to take into account where I live. When you do that you’ll realize I get no clear radio stations at all and the ones that are marginal are Canadian. Even in town I’m pretty sure none of the local stations broadcast SNF. Had Sirius for awhile and that did work for game audios but have canceled the service.
Have you tried using the internet to listen to the radio. I’m actually listening to the baseball game right now through an online radio stream.

He is the master of the obvious when it comes to commentary. I think the NFL network keeps him around just to make fun of him when the camera’s are shut off and for office pranks.

Kitna’s too old and prone to mistakes, that’s why he’s a back-up. Coming into a game that’s already started he’s allright.

Fuck DJ, this season for the Boy’s has been a meatgrinder already, and that’s just in the press lol.
