Agreed Print. I know that the man had his hands in the drug life as well as adultery but I dont want to remember him like that. Its a shame that the damn author(his name doesnt come to mind) thought that it was necessary to write this book. Its also sad to see the men and women he hired for many years to turn their back on him and spread alot of inside info.

So Deej, what about the Boys-Lions! Whattya think?

According to what kind of walking wounded we have, they might as well and just take the ejection and Nancy Karrigan Megatrons knee.

If Romo is healthy and we have Dez and Miles it will be a shootout.[/quote]

It would be nice if you could put one in the end-zone this week…

Some new book looking to make a quick buck. Very few things get me lathered up in RL or the webz. But dragging his name through mud definitely hit a hot button for me.

Total package is what he was. & damn could he finish!

EDIT- Ditka is a cocksucker for not giving him the ball in the SB!!!

I was driving down 294 a long time ago. A yellow Ferrari or Lambo (can’t remember) pulled into a toll booth a couple isles to the right of me. Liscence plate said “SWTNESS”

I pulled off at the next rest stop and called my dad, I was way too excited to drive and couldn’t even be sure it was Walter Payton. He was beyond great.

Matty are we betting Ravens-Jets or what?

X2 on Ditka, instead he gave it to that tub of lard Perry.

That Payton video was great, thanks for posting it. I remember my grade eight phys-ed teacher played a highlite video of him and saying this guy is the greatest RB since Jim Brown, went on and on about him.

I also remember the guy saying “I only have time for one more film boys, it’s one on Pele, well, sorry Pele we’re going to watch Walter run again” lol.

Watching that hi-light video made me think of Marshawn Lynch’s run last year, great run, he may not have another run like that in his career. Payton had dozens like that it seems.

Payton would brawl at the drop of a hat too. Always down to get down. Probably the one running back that changed the game entirely in the 80’s by having all that speed and some power.

Absolutely Brad, avatar for the week?

Jets are getting 3, or do you wanna do straight pickem?

It’s really reassuring to hear that, to be honest. I’ve always semi-supported the Jets (I mean, as much as you can for a team that’s not your own,) but that guy always irked me. Glad it’s not just me.

Straight pick’em sounds good to me. If I lose, you chose the avatar, and vice versa.

Hmmf, didn’t know fireman Ed was a bum to you all. Interesting since that’s like the ONLY jets fan they show on TV.

Thought he was a staple like the dogpound or the hoggettes or that viking horn guy

You still owe me one as well. I’m holding that over you forever.

Both of the Bay Area teams should be fun to watch this weekend.

Hopefully Willis can separate Vick’s upper body from his lower body, and Raiders/Pats should be verrrrrrrrry interesting. There’s a lot of anger pent up there, especially with Seymour. Hopefully it just turns into an epic shootout, I’m talking 42-35.

I’d love to see the Raiders lay the wood.

Very interesting article about the Cowboys, how linemen are required to wear microphones if networks make a request, isolating/stealing snap counts and cadences, and how that played into the crazy snaps by Costa:

I think we could get a W this week. The Vikings are decent but no great shakes and all those close losses can’t be good for morale. If we can keep Peterson to around 100yards and 1td I’d fancy our chances pretty nicely. Big if though.

Your playing McNabb, of course you’ll win.

I’m just waiting for McCluster to break out.

McCluster has some real potential averaging 6.6 a carry. He needs to be used sparingly though as he is a real injury risk.

It’s possible. The Vikings keep blowing leads because they don’t give it to Peterson. Apparently he only had five carries in the fourth quarter last game.

@ Matty, did you see where Heimerdinger passed away today? Only 58yrs old. Damn shame. Good O coordinator. Pennington had his best yrs under him.
