NFL 2011 Offseason

^ Its just his way Print but it has got your team to two AFC championship games, who else has done that in their first two years as a head coach?

^True! But their has got to be a time when you inhale. He’s going to become the clown of the NFL w/consistent bravado. Don’t get me wrong, I love the cat & what he’s done for them. Just don’t wear your welcome out.

Heard Herm this morning on Mike & Mike. He’s another one like yours truly who has a hard-on for Cam. The fact that he going to do everything at the combine tells me he is full of confidence.

^ I just dont know man, I have serious doubts now. Listening to Mayock who has broke down his game tape was very critical about his play in the BCS NC game. One year wonders always scare me also.

Lulz to Rex ‘white noise’ Ryan. WTF is he doing? I have a lot of respect for him as a coach, but damn he runs his mouth like a newborn filling a diaper.[/quote]

A person’s words become meaningless when they are never backed up by actions.

^Yeah! That’s what I said, just not as eloquently as you… Smarty-pants

DJ- Mayock is the only one I’ve heard say anything negative. He was also more than a 1yr wonder. Plus i don’t care what kinda wonder you are, if you own the SEC. He did that. But he also won at JC too. I know I’m putting a lot of stock in him. The cat is just to much of a athlete not to succeed. If he surrounds himself w/the rt people.

^ I have just seen Mayock hit a ton more than miss. I really do respect the guys ability to evaluate talent. He is not really being totally negative he is just saying lets evaluate the tape, see what he does and keep a level head. I agree he has ability, but Tebow owned the SEC for a couple years. Vince Young dominated the Big 12 and Russell dominated the SEC also. To me the QB position is the one that just doesnt translate to the Pros like other positions.

^Good points. Will be very interesting to see how he throws at the combine. Seems to be the big issue surrounding him. He’s going to have to have precision passing in the drills.

Spot on. Joe Flacco didn’t even get to play D1 football and look at him now. I honestly think a QB prospects character and personal makeup is almost as important as his physical ability, especially when making the transition to the pros.

Aaron Rodgers almost fell out of the first round because his physical abilities were nothing amazing, but his work ethic and desire to succeed are unrivaled, and look where that took him…

Exactly, Matt Ryan was at BC but I for one never even heard of him before Mayock did his thing on him at the combine.

Look at my team, shit Romo is a undrafted FA from a D2 school. Yes I know he has not won a SB, but the guy has 2 4000 yard seasons. Tom Brady was 6th round for fucks sake.

I think there has probably been more 1st round QB busts than successes.

The reason I like Mayock is he is not a media guy, he played pro ball and he loves what he is doing. Guys off ESPN like McShay and Plastic hair what experience do they have at evaluating talent?

Cam will knock it out of the park at the combine, he will look awesome in shorts. I want to see his wonderlick and the actual breakdown of his game tape.

Cam didn’t do anyhting special at UF (granted he was behind tebow)… also spread qb’s don’t translate well tot he pros… thats been shown time and time again… not saying he won’t prove me wrong but history is against him…

^Alright… I see where we are going w/this…

So it’s me V you guys.

This time next yr, I would greatly appreciate being called ‘Capn’t Knowledge.’

Or how about this Capn instead.

Its cool print I like the kid and really hope the best for him cause his dad almost fucked him over big time. (I just want him to be drafted in the west or AFC)

^Here I am praising him like the 2nd coming

WTF!!! My Thesis didn’t post!!!

Anyhow the long of the short of it is, it would be ironic if he ended up in my division. I would be wishing big fails next fall.

QB class this year is fucking newbie weak. No doubt about it. I would hate to be in Rivera’s spot at that #1 pick. I would take Quinn, fuck it build the defense. Got to have D to put pressure on Brees, Ryan and Freeman. You have no WR anyway cant do it all in one draft.

yea he could end up in Buffalo.

Today has been the most entertaining day of the combine by far. It seems like everyone pretty much did what they were projected to do.

The NFL Network crew seems smitten by Locker though, which scares me. Both he and Mallet looked good today, although they are throwing in shorts with no pressure.

Julio Jones dominated the WR portion of the combine. I wouldn’t be surprised if he started getting projected closer to AJ Green territory. Jones is a freak.

Not for nothing Rex needs to shut the fuck up already. He doesn’t even know what fucking players will be on his team and hes declaring the jets next years SB champs…when you do stupid shit like that it makes his boasts fucking hollow. fucking asshat. Enoughs enough, stop saying thats what you will believe when we have like 14 free agents…fat ass.

I told you WC Locker would be getting a push.

Jones is a fucking freak him and Green will be the next Fitz and Andre combo.

How about 49 reps with 225 for the Oregon kid? Fucking impressive.

Cam just does not look like a NFL ready QB. His footwork is HS level, he has good arm motion, but he just does not get that at this level your footwork is everything.

Yes he can jump and he is fucking fast, but I will take a guy that can throw the ball in a shoe box, not a BARN.

anyone see the 49 rep bench press record? i feel like he could’ve hit 50 on the last rep he wasn’t struggling that much…

the guy was a DT from oregon
