FuckFace!

& I believe Rock is referring to my post. I didn’t twist anything around. You said the Patz didn’t show to play. All I said was that is a ridiculous statement to make. I see no twist.
Ok, Print. This isn’t reverse psychology this time. I only wanted Pats to win because my aura of evil will attach to the Pats and they would lose. And I was right.

I pull for the Steelers because I’ve always been a fan, they play the way football should be played, and they play good football regardless of my aura of evil.

S-T-E-E-L-E-R-S

STEELERS!!

Ok! Which is it Wol, Patz or Stillirs?

NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Go Cowboys…wait, sorry. Go Jets :P
NFC will NOT win a SuperBowl. AFC has owned the 2000’s.
It goes by decades and in this new decade the NFC is the champ so far.

Steelers will tie it up.

Still pulling for the Bears but I already have $$ on the Steelers going all the way.

^ what were you thinking, you didnt see this

as much as i wanna root for the jets i can’t… they are prolli the most arrogant assholes… however if i had to play for a coach it’d be either rex ryan or jason garret or harbaugh (baltimore) in the modern NFL… in the NFL of old prolli don shula or tony dungy or lombardi…

I completely disagree. I feel like the whole team is overall pretty respectful comparitvely. It’s the NFL. The only sport that has a higher need for unshakeable ego/confidence is professional fighting. Jets stir things up, but they are also highly complimentary and respectful of opponents before and after games. To me disrespectful is

  1. Tom Brady trying to act like he doesnt ever do shit that can be considered disrespectful, like pointing and taunting the opp. sidelines like a 4 year old.
  2. Wes Welker spitting out an entire (hilarious) interview adressing thru inuendo an opponents coaches personal/private issues that heretofore even the media had been largely ignoring.
  3. Deion Branch not being able to swallow his pride after chokin along with Brady, calling the Jets classless after the game, but refusing to aknowledge who or what he saw as classless.
  4. Steelers players Big Ben and Harrison, and really the many other db’s around the league who feel like they have the right to abuse/assault women.

Ryan saying it’s personal.
Cromartie calling someone who is blatantly obviusly a huge asshole, an asshole all of a sudden makes the team disrespectful.
I think they plAY hard and have fun.
They have every right to have a HUGE chip on their shoulders.

I’ve always had a lot of respect for Pitts… Love their new coach too, just seems like a straight stand up guy. I like thier brand of football the most…

I just wish their QB didn’t get his nose dirty in the off-field bullshit, because it makes it hard to route for him.

But then again, he didn’t drown a puppy, so he has that going for him.

I don’t know. The Jets might just be blessed this time around. SHoudl be a good game.

As for the NFC. I don’t think the Bears will beat the Jets or Steelers, but I think the Packers can, only because Rogers can play ungodly football sometimes.

Out of all the douchebags in the NFL you single out only people on winning teams…

interesting.

Yea silver I got to say killing a person and still playing pretty much makes you an asshole.

But I agree with everything you wrote. This is the fine line of talking trash and being disrespectful and only the guys who play professionally can make that determination.

Suggs wearing the shirt with the middle finger was not looked upon as trash talking.

Yea, I mentioned only those teams that are and have been relevant for the last month. It seemed like a good place to start since the Jets situation was directly tied to the Pats this last week. The Steelers are still standing and as such I saw them being relevant as well.
In a league like the NFL, which as already stated is full of ethically/morraly bankrupt individuals, I saw fit to select some teams and players who are still frsh in evryones minds. I thought it made sense.

Are we talking about the Ravens now. I will admit, it took me a long time to forgive Ray Lewis, but he seems to be genuinely sorry and grateful that he was granted a second chance, and he seems to have made his life into being a much more positive person, I can respect and forgive him for that.
The same with Stallworth, he made a horrible decision, which I would bet money I am the only one on this forum who has never done what he did, and he paid for it. He also seems to be wholly repentant and having the blessings of the family did help.

I will say this, I kind of diverged with the Steelers. They are playing this weekend so they are in the front of m y head, but we were talking about onfield respect and class, not off the field criminal issues.

I will try to not go off on this one as I am sure it has already been discussed fully, but it is a deeply personal issue as you may have figured from my pic.

  1. Do not ever try to argue to me that animal cruelty in any way is as bad as human cruelty, i HAVE NO IDEA where this comes from. Your telling me if you had to pick between your son and your dog, you would have trouble making that decision.
  2. Dogfighting is such a deeply bred historical part of certain cultures that to take it out of context and treat it as universally inhumane is insane. We have plenty of ways in this country in which we can abuse or neglect animals that are perfectly legal. I do not think that being on one side of the law makes an activity more or less humane.
3.Nothing has done more to change the negative public perception of my dogs than the Vick story. It brought unheard of amunts of info to the general public, educating and changing the way many people look at my breed. Before this the only exposure they had was the stereotypes you see in movies, and often times incorrect reportings of PitBull attacks on the local news.

Beans

Did you actuall just insinuate that two guys that have a history of agression and predation towards women have less to be ashamed about than a guy who hurt some dogs? I hope your mother doesnt read your comments on this site.

^ Silver its just in jest we have discussed this in this thread and decided to leave it to PWI forum to discuss. We just joke about it as a break in tension.

ON to football. So I see the crypt keeper hired a coach, did anybody doubt that decision?

I know, if it comes up I will have my say though:) I’m def not one to get all pissy and PC about some comment on the web, especially from east coasters.

Because as you say, I am to lazy to bring up another page and google it, who did he hire.

Edit: I am still bummed about Cables firing. I had hoped that Coaches choking each other out in the lockerroom was a sign of the pirate ship beginning to right itself and steer a straight course for the first time in years. Also, after the Hawks game this year a halloween game in Oakland has been added to my nonexistent Bucket List

As for the Vick situation, I have forgiven him for what he has done. He’s trying to be a better man & contribute something to today’s youth. My girl on the other hand would love to see him in the rape chair. We all make mistakes, some bigger than others. It’s what you learn from these mistakes that sculpt you into who you become.

I too am quite the dog lover, as many of you know. That shouldn’t be the only thing I see when looking at Vick.

Ray has most definitely turned his life around. I’m from Balt. & I talk to my boys up there & they say he gives all of free time to helping all inner city kids, homeless, police, shelters, wherever he can do some good.

Sermon over!

Let’s talk about how are we going to get our ground game going against the Stillirs? & can Sanchez play at the same level he did last week?

No man you can have your say no worries. Just wanted to clarify Beans statement and my picture.
