If I got away with murder, I would be thankful for every day outside of prison too.

Matt Cassel and Tamba Hali should absolutely be on the Pro Bowl rosters. Without Cassel the Chiefs would be utterly screwed, no player is more important to his team. Hali has been a one man pass rush, 12 sacks and 4 forced fumbles. Also Ryan Lilja should be there instead of Waters who is there by name only.
Okay Red here is a little introduction into the pro bowl.
#1 Big names get in even with medicore years
#2 If their team is really getting stomped hard to get in i.e. Cowboys, Vikings
#3 If your team does not play a lot of Prime Time games no recognition in national media
#4 It doesnt mean shit, half the guys dont go so they put somebody else in.
I love football, but even I dont watch the pro bowl. Some how guys playing half speed, its like watching 7 on 7 flag football.
I know itās a load of balls to watch and that the selection process is flawed. I do think that players would be a bit excited by their first selection though. Everyone likes a little recognition.

Hate to sound like a broken record, but most of the players use it as a bargaining chip in contract negoitations. Yes I think a little bit they like the recognition but mostly they like to throw that at owners and GMās.
