X2
Happy Holidays.
I <3 most of you guys
Happy Kwanzaa to all you guys. I think of you each as one of my brotha’s.
Cept for this week PeantButter Andy, cuz he’s a Bears fan.
the bears are ghey
I’M BACK.
49ers have a big game this weekend and the winner will most likely get into the playoffs. People can cry all they want about a sub .500 team making the playoffs, but if their team had taken care of business on the field, than they’d have nothing to complain about.
Doesn’t look like the 49ers will land a high enough pick to get Luck, so I hope we make a good playoff push, and maybe we can sign McNabb or Orton in the off-season.
WC do you think Luck will come out? Is he a senior or junior? Or should we ask this in the college football thread?

Money-wise I think he should definitely come out, he’s pretty much guaranteed to be the top pick. If he does return he’ll be the Heisman front runner, which ain’t to shabby, but I don’t think Stanford has the firepower to make a run at the championship.
I think the biggest deciding factor will be what Harbaugh does, which should be very interesting to watch.
Merry x-mas to all the regulars here, even the Ravens fan who pops in from time to time lol.
Alot of people are calling for a new way to seed playoff teams, I’m not one of them. If your team is good why worry about playing an away game if they are a shit team with a losing record. You should win regardless right?. Steelers did it the hard way and frankly it may have helped. That underdog us against the world drives some teams to greatness.
The problem I see for the owners is lost revenue. The Niners’s are hurtin’ but they could host a playoff game and make a pile of dough. Now the other teams owner is probably pissed that his team had more wins but will miss out on the various revenue from parking, booze etc.
I will not shed one tear for a billionare owner…ever…unless their last name happens to be Rooney ![]()
Happy Holidays to everyone too, and x2 on everything BJB said, spot on. Except the Rooney’s.
edit- somehow I just managed to snag Vincent Jackson from waivers and I’m last in waiver order.
Merry Xmas to all. Now all I want for Xmas is for Tom Brady to get his 4th super bowl ring so there will be plenty of crying and gnashing of teeth in this thread.
And for the foot fetish coach to go down in a blaze of glory ;0
By the way, I watched Lombardi, a documentary on the late great Vince Lombardi, on HBO last night and I was blown away. I have to admit this documentary had me in tears at the end and I was simply amazed by what this guy accomplished and what impact he had on all of those who knew him and played for him.
Now I really know why it’s called the Lombardi trophy. One of the all time great coaches for sure. The show had a dramatic impact on me and I DVRed it for the SO to see. Highly recommended if you have HBO.

All I want for xmas is for Tom Brady to have his teeth knocked out, while wearing Ugz.

Shit is amazing.
Nothing short of amazing.
^LULZ… I love it! Rex for Prez.
I see no problem w/it. His wife’s feet are kinda sexy. This also tells me she’s a kinky little thang.
EDIT- Just watched the beer swilling, wife beater vid & would most def. give her the good ol’ Jet after thrust.

I don’t think Luck will come out, especially with a strike looming.

If anything the rookie slotting that will take place in the new agreement would motivate him to come out now and land a huge contract while he still can. Either way, I think a strike (which I don’t see happening) falls behind his coaches choices, and his shot at a Heisman and a national championship in determining his course of action.

Good point. But timing is going to be a bitch. If the CBA doesnt get done until later in the summer next year he will get no off season work with a team. That could really hurt his 1st abilities. Kid is in a really tough position. I still say come back get your degree, put up another great year. Mat Ryan when he as BC did NOT have any WR or winning record, however all the scouts knew what the kid had. Same will be said for Luck.
