NFL 2010 X 3

The main problem I see with Vick is that he’s going to get injury. They have the Giants, Vikings, and Cowboys again. Any of one of these teams can literal damage to Vick. I think their O-line needs to somewhat step up in order to protect the guy.[/quote]

It really is his only weakness, lol. Dude is pretty fragle and doesn’t go down. He takes too many hits and that will catch up with him. You’re right.

I liked routing for the Saints last year 1) because they would beat Peyton, and 2) because that city got the shaft, and I was really happy for the fans.

Pats/Saints would be a good matchup for the Saints. They are a dome team, speed receivers. Not that I don’t think the Pats could win. I’m convinced any team can win any week, I just think the Saints would matchup well.

Notice we have all pretty much ignored Atlanta? lol

we are a bunch of dicks.

Oh, there’s no way I’ve discounted Atlanta, I actually prefer Matty Ice than Brees in the Superbowl. I’d like to see Eagles vs. Falcons in the NFC championship, It’d be great football to watch. I’ve only discounted the Giants because I dislike anyone with Manning in their name.

Texans = if the D doesn’t fuck it up, the offense will.

They will come back from down 200 points, but blow it in the final moments, lol

holy fucking shit. nearly blew it. but a win is a win.

Must be better prepped for Brees and Co next week. whewwwwwwwwww

Man it must suck to be a Texans fan. They come back and just find ways to blow it. I know the Ravens defense was winded, but at the end of regulation they were playing too conservative and not blitzing at all.

yup. can’t rush 3 against an offence like that

forever 8-8

OMFG thank god schaub threw the pick 6 i went from leading my FF game by 10 at the start of the 4th to being down by 1 thanks to the 2 td’s schaub throws then the pick 6 put me up by 5…

on a side note that does suck for schaub… he leads the team on two fantastic drives… then throws the pick 6 after the defense stops the ravens on their possession. “there’s always next year”

Hines Ward is tenth all time in receptions after Sundays game against the bungles.

Not bad for a QB out of Georgia who was a special teams guy to start his career lol. Call him dirty or whatever but he is one tough sob. If he’s not carefull he just might get to Canton some day with a little luck.

Jets @ Steelers Sunday 4:15. That should be a hummdinger. I believe the Stillers will win because the defence knows it can’t let up cause the red zone offence of Pittsburgh is awfull. Should be a close game, can’t wait.

  • I am not a Favre fan but I give him credit for not simply starting a game to prolong a streak, kudos to him. He seemed more at peace on interviews.

  • Listening to Vicente Shiancoe and Jared Allen after their loss made me respect these guys tremendously, sometimes I get the feeling that fans care about wins and losses more than players (sometimes) but these showed how much they care about losing, it was refreshing

u mean shiancoe and allen didn’t ask manning for an autograph after the game?

LOL, i thought shiancoe was gonna go ape shit on one of the reporters…he held it together though

I honestly don’t think the thing with Tashard should have been blown up like it was. Vick was just entering the NFL when Tashard was in high school, and their both from Atlanta, so you can bet that Vick was one of his straight up heroes. I think the thing about his nephew was an excuse, but who cares if a player respects another player enough to ask for his autograph.

Players from opposing teams hug, converse, and smile right after the game, what’s the big deal about getting a signature?

I totally agree. They were friends from their Atlanta days when Choice played at Georgia Tech. Vick must be a legend to him. Everyone does it.

honestly i don’t care i just thought it was funny choice would ask vick for his autograph… i was listening to 790 the zone (in atl) and they said that players trade equip all the time (jerseys and helmets, etc) it just sux that choice was caught on tv asking for an autograph…

i just figured there’d be another way to get it rather then directly after a loss… i mean i see “heated” rivals hug and shake hands etc (jason taylor after the jets loss) but signing autogrpahs? thats a first.

This is exactly what I was referring to when I told DJ I want them to get a veteran back-up QB.
Also, Stuart Scott said that the Texans are the only team in NFL history to be down by 2 touchdowns or more for 4 games going into the 4th quarter only to tie or take the lead then lose. That’s a fucking crazy statistic.

dunno what it is with the texans… they always seem to be missing something every year… and every year they are pegged as the “surprise super bowl contenders”

A good coach.

I have to confess my bro crush on Shady McCoy. He really grew up from week to week, and has become one of the premire backs of the NFL. <3
