I know we are two pages past this but Wilba I wanted to answer.

To me Brady is just that kind of person that I would not get along with in life. Yes he is an outstanding QB cant deny that, but the way he carries himself is just opposite of how I carry myself outside of work. I know they are sports figures who personality is only revealed through the media, however the persona he has I just cant stand.

From a football perspective yes I would want this guy as my QB he plays out of this world when the lights are on, but after the game while I go get a beer he would go watch some french foreign film fest and drink french wine. [/quote]

Thoughts on Giants vs Minny this weekend? Diehl will be back @ LT and it sounds like both Nicks and Smith may play. We’ll see how they feel tomorrow after working today with the 1st team.

Eli is 0-4 in Minny so I think it’s time that streak ends.

For me the keys to the game are stop Adrian Peterson and hope Favre plays.

True, but I am old and I like the scenery. Honestly ever time I have a client and taking them to dinner and drinks this is where they want to go. The food is not that great, but they have TV’s on sports and well endowed women everywhere so cant complain. I personally like Buffalo Wild Wings if I had a choice.

This is a toss up, Vikes will want to play spoiler and win for their new coach. Could be switch a roo, start Favre and bring in T-Jack and run the hell out of the ball. Giants D is outstanding against the pass, but I am not sure how they will contain AP. Vikes D has been a let down this year. Will be a fun game to watch.

So… Bears or Patriots on Sunday? I know all of you will say Pats, but I seriously think that the Bears can win. They probably won’t, not to mention they have won like 6 games in a row and it’s time for a loss, but anyways…

Pats offense is clearly better than the Bears, but the Bears defense is outstanding. However Brady is an amazing QB and he’ll definitely find some room for big throws.

Pats defense is not that good, pass rush sucks… hopefully Cutler can get something going.

Conditions for Bears to win:

  1. Brady has a so-so day
  2. Defense for Bears does it’s thing, and covers the receivers
  3. Cutler and offense get something going
  4. Giving Cutler good field position from special teams return punts
  5. Gould makes all of his field goals

I think it will be a close game, I am going to say… Bears 23, Patriots 27
