Newbie, Physique Feedback


hi people i am new to the t forum just wanted to show my face and get some feedback on my physique and give see if you can give me some advice on what areas need most work. I have been training solid for three years now on a four day split and took the plunge and competed twice this year.

I came first in my debut show and came seventh at the final in the novice class at the NPA british back in October. Looking to compete as a lightweight in the under 70kg class next year if all goes well in the offseason. Thanks

You look great.How tall are you? Its churlish to pick specific body parts after three years imho.you look muscular without “obvious” water retention,if you get my drift.Shows these yanks what us brits can do!

Your wrist must be in a great deal of pain if you need to wear gloves to pose.

Nice job so far, great potential. Tell us about your training and diet. I would suggest extra work on arms, mid back and abs (you seem very lean not not have more definition in your midsection, unless I’m missing something).

Keep it up man, and this site is a great resource so stick around.

Sorry some of the pics have not come out as expected and i am not the best with computers so i will leave the rest.

I am about 5,7 in height and at this time my weight is at 73.3kg as of this morning. In the pics at the show after carb and water depleting my bodyweight was around 63kg. In the offseason my max weight has been at 86kg but this year the plan is to stay quite lean so i don’t have to diet as much as last year. The avatar pic was taken one week after my first cut and i felt this was the best i looked.

Some of my measurements include:
Arms 15.8
chest 43.1
thighs 23.8
calves 16.3
forearms 13.5
waist 30 inches at this time pre christmas!!!

Thats about it but any advice on how i could improve would be grateful. The areas i feel i need to improve on most is back thickness and width and inner chest so any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

one area i struggle to get real hard definition is my abs and was one area where i was marked down at the show. I did not train abs very much because i was told i would thicken my waist and hips up too much. The fact is though that i have to thicken them up and fill out my midsection so this year i am doing a lot more weighted ab exercises to improve that area. Any tips would be great
