New vs Old T-Nation Slogans

Does anyone else prefer “Unapologetic Muscle Building Elitists” to the more PC “Intelligent and Relentless Pursuit of Muscle” ???

I also liked the Idea of the ‘T-Man’ from the late 90’s I believe it was. I believe there was much unapologetic debate on the forums about what exacly a ‘T-man’ was and how he should conduct himself or herself.

Ah the good ole days…

I believe “Unapologetic Muscle-Building Elitists” is only a couple of years old. Back in the day it was ‘Bodybuilding’s Think-Tank’.

I still refer to the site as “T Nation” even though the url is T Muscle.

I like it the way it is. Unapologetic Muscle Building Elitists sounds snobby and ghey.

^^ I know what you mean…it sounded kind of like the guy at the bar that’s drunk and saying that he’s the kind of guy that don’t take shit from nobody and that he’s not popular because he tells it like it is and that people don’t like that.

I believe the concept is TMuscle is the Magazine while T-Nation is the forum comprised of the members and posters … ie, they are the magazine WE are the Nation

or somethin’ like dat

I like all the slogans. I also like the way the header all over the site now says “TNATION” instead of “TMuscle.”

5 posts since 2004 and 1 about slogans

Remember in the 90s when it was Protein Nation?

That was rad!

Remember when you didn’t have to post the same thing twice?

That was rad!

I don’t remember that. I remember wearing polo cologne in 8th grade - 93 or so. That was dope.

lol … niiice

I’d buy t shirts if they said T-Nation but T-Muscle just makes me feel toolish.

TMuscle, wtf is that, Testosterone Muscle? Mmmm I liked Testosterone Nation, a nation of horny bear mode men ready to fuck you up the ass. Manly men, strong men, men men men.

And now I wait for the comments about how gay that sounded.

Whuuuut?

I still like T-Nation better than T-Muscle. T-Nation made it sound like you were part of something larger, a cult of sorts.

Seems like some people don’t realize that this site has gone back to using T-Nation as its name.

See, ID knows what I’m talking about.

And yes they have gone back to T-Nation but there is still tmuscle in the webname.

Everything should just got back to plain good ol’ T-Nation.

Dude, you have a custom ID-made squats and quilts avi? I’m very jealous.

“Unapologetic Muscle-Building Elitists” is still my favorite. I loved seeing it up there. Hasnt been there for a while. Is it gone?
