New to TRT, and looking for pointers

Hey there,
Im new to the whole TRT thing. Still trying to learn the basics. Im 41 and it seems tested low for testosterone like many do my age, and im teying to fix that.
Currently on my 7th week of .5cc twice a week on TestC from a 200mg vial. Being prescribed test by the docs so im not juat injecting willy nilly lol
I did notice that TRTnation takes awhile to get refilled. I dont want to mess up my rotation by waiting. I got a 400mg vial of TestE brand new to help suppliment incase.

Only thing im trying to underatand is i keep seeing conflicting use. I know E and C are essentially work exaclty the same, and since i pin twice a week (200mg total) im not really on the high side of anything. So far no puffy or swollen nips, and other than some oily skin on my head, and a few extra pimples on my back, i lve managed to keep the achne at bay by showering every day espwcially after working out. I have anti estrogen pills just in case, but havnt needed it yet.

Back to test e, is there a difference in how much i draw and administer, or is it 1:1? Im good with injections, so no worries on that. Just want to make sure i dont over does it. Im already starting to feel better working out. Recovery is amazing. I cant believe i did a major chest workout on sunday and not even sore today.

Also, what is recommneded to take along side TRT? Currently i take 500mg asprine daily, fish oil, and nitrix oxide. I take bcaa and creatine on days i workout which is 3x a week so far. I know i need to increase my cardio. I run 2 miles in 25 minutes so far, which doesnt sounds great except i weigh 325 roght now lol im an avide weight lifter, and i guess you can say the bulk has gotten out of control lol i need to lean out big time. So yeah yeah… diet and all that. I want to slim down to about 265lbs that has me a lot leaner and easier on my knees to run. I want to be able to run 2 miles under 17mins and be able to still bench 275, squat 315, and deadlift 405.

Sure you are. Thats a very high dose. Almost certainly more than replacement, but likely even more that optimization levels. I would be surprised if you don’t test over range.

Test E and C for all intents are interchangeable. Just treat your E the same as C. Differences are minor.

Only what the doctor orders. IMO a healthy balanced nutrition plan is all you need outside of medicinal prescriptions. If you eat properly, you shouldn’t even need a multivitamin. However, good things to have are protein sources and possibly fish oil for Omegas.

Currently I would prioritize your diet / nutrition. You are morbidly obese at 325. I know thats hard to hear. Focus on getting to your 265 first and then revaluate for further weight loss.

Be aware this is not the same concentration you are currently taking. It is double and it’s gonna hurt to inject. I would get some test cyp 200mg/ml so there is no injection confusion if you use it.

Also everything @blshaw said.

Nothing. No, I’m not joking.

I appreciate everyones input.
Yes, my diet is my first priority and sleep cycle. Increase protien intake and all that.

My weight is heavy, and i dont like it. Feel like im always fighting it. Having an under active thyroid doesnt help either. Looking at increasing my Low intencity cardio to at least 2 miles a day (12-15min mile pace) while lifting 3-4 times a week. While 325 sounds like im heavy, which i am, again, i carry it well giving the situation im in. As i improve ill start increasing my milage to an average id 20 miles a week. This has often helped me maintain my stamina.

Understood that ill have to half the does of my Test E since its a high consitration. So .25 units of TestE vs .50 units of my current TestC, and still administered twice a week.

Im not using anything else currently, other than what the docs recommneded like the aspine regiment and fishoil pills daily. I added the nitric oxicide for working out, and BCAA and creatine for preworkout only when i lift. I know some people can have bloating and water retention with creatine so ill keepnan eye on that.

My understanding is if i regularly do cardio such as running several times a week, i can avoid having to donate blood, which im not against, but dont feel like getting sticked more often if i dont need to. Ill be scheduling labs soon to see where my current blood work is at so i can also refill my prescription.

Besides nutrition, any other pointers suggested as i near my test saturation point? No i dont plan on getting anything more serious like Tren or Dbol. I mostly juat want to maintain my levels for long periods of time and course correct body. Increasing my strenghth and speed isnt a bad side effect though lol but i have no desire to be massivly muscular. I like to lift heavy, and i already carry a lot of muscle mass, i just want to get it down to an athletic build now.

Yes, in my reply I had understood you to mean you had an extra 400mg Test E as that is how you write it … not 400mg/ml. If your concentration is indeed that you are correct. As @s.gentz stated, it’s likely to be painful.
