New Terminator: Salvation 4 Minute Clip

Looking at Arnold now, him being my punk as governor, I cannnot associate him with his older kick ass movies. He is such a kiss ass now, bullshit artist politician, its hard to imagine he was ever good. But then again, he was “acting.” T1 and T2 were the shit, but T3 was better off not being made seeing how it came out. It looked like a B made movie with a lame budget or something. Less than 2 weeks for T4, I am looking for redemption with this.
I have respect for Arnold the bodybuilder of the Golden Era, for a 6 time Mr. Olympia, for the Terminator in I and II, but for present time era Arnold I have nothing but contempt.

If its not directed by Zach Snyder or Sylvester Stallone…it will be PG-13. I’ve pretty much have accepted that…but this will still be awesome…AND at least help forget about T3.

T3 totally played with my balls and stroked the shaft. It was a total waste of Arnold’s presence IMO. “DER lets make a female terminator” “YAH” Since everything I can do, you can do too and maybe better. Suck my balls. Fuck that shit. Now y’all done pissed me off. Not even J-pop dance music will cheer me up.

you’re a fool…lol.

But am I correct even through the madness? That movie sucked.
yes,sir…you’re correct.

What,no present day love for the Governator??

I really wouldn’t be worried about the rating. Think about what they put in rated R films these days (over the top gore and violence, full frontal male nudity, etc). They are using that ‘sci-fi violence’ tag with movies like this more and more.
A recent interview with the director addresses the R/PG-13 rating: http://scifiwire.com/2009/05/mcg-talks-terminator-salv.php

Apparently Linda Hamilton agreed to do some voice work for this movie (probably the tapes she left John) so she’ll be “in” the movie as well. Wonder if they’ll have Michael Biehn appear down the line.

The only thing I liked about T3 was the ending showing they didn’t stop Judgment Day. Everything else seemed to be a hackneyed version of T2.

It aint the same without Arnold

Its like if they got Brock Lesnar to do Rocky 7

I’m not watchin this movie EVER!!!

Thanks for the link. While, I’m sure those deleted scenes will be on the disk once it hits DVD, I really hope they put together a director’s cut with that stuff put back in.

I was really excited when I heard about the Linda Hamilton voice over. I think that helps tie T2 and T4 together better.

That would be cool if they could get a Michael Biehn or even a Robert Patrick cameo in a future movie. I think it’s interesting that they have Anton Yelchin playing a young Kyle Reese. That kid is getting all the cool roles lately.

Dude…the last time I checked,Terminator wasn’t the same with Arnold. Its not hard to conceive the thought that a Terminator movie can exist without Arnold…ESPECIALLY if its in the “current future” before the first Terminator. Come on…get with the program, bro.

Bump to bring something else up.

Everyone pretty much knows this is going to be the first of a new trilogy. Here’s the director talking about the ideas of #5.

I’ll get the major spoiler out of the way - there might be time traveling robots involved!

Time traveling robots?! That’s the most ridiculous idea I’ve ever heard. I can’t imagine watching a movie about something like that and enjoying it.

Oh wait…nevermind.

Okay so I’ve been meditating upon the new terminator and I think I got it figured out.

In the new terminator salvation, I bet u the plot is that, Skynet doesn’t want to destroy humanity. Rather, tis goal is to be at endless war with humanity to justify its existence in its own mind. Thus it wishes to replace humanity, with mentally identical to human machines, that will carry on an endless attrition against Skynet and its machine. So, it aims to fill the human ranks with rogue terminators, until all the humans die out, and then tere are just terminators and cyborgs who replicate themselves. They shall carry on an endless war between machine and machine that thinks its human.

What do you think?

I dont know you. I dont know much of anything about you. This I do know. Your posts make me quite literally laugh out loud.

Kudos to you my friend.

If the info on this page is right, looks like the guy who’s playing Chekov in the new Star Trek film is playing Kyle Reese in Salvation.

It’s also got 5 short clips of different Salvation scenes. No real spoilers which I can see.

I got home from a final exam, laid on my favorite couch and popped in T2 just to get me amped up for Thursday night. I have to watch this shit opening night. No fucking way around it.

Ok, a pretty technical explanation as to why Terminator Salvation will not be released in IMAX (in short: it wasn’t filmed in IMAX)

I think I still have my Terminator mask in storage somewhere. I’ll have to go dig it out.
