New Music

I recently got the new Bring me the Horizon album. The new stuff is surprisingly different to previous albums. It is fair to say the band caters for an acquired taste with this album being more experimental and layered. Considered the raining champs of new generation metalcore in some circles I would recommend a listen before any votes are cast. I have this on my MP3 player at the moment, excellent for training!

New Incubus single, still one of my favourite bands.

Just got Within Temptation’s new album.

Admitedly, I’d never even heard of this band before I heard the track 'Faster’on Planet Rock radio…kind of a 80’s powerballad/Evananescence type hybrid…me likey!!!

Hip-Hop fans should keep an ear open for this one.

Full length collab album between mastermind producer/mc and former Def Jux CEO El-P and southern MC Killer Mike. This looks like one of the most promising projects in the near future for hip-hop. Keep a look out for the new El-P LP as well(no pun). There is a video of a full hour interview by XXL magazine on the project with EL-P and Killer Mike for any music nerds who would care to watch such a thing.

Not to dick ride(It can’t be helped when I’m talking about El-P) but I love his sit back and smile attitude. Ironic as he is labeled the mind child of the pretentious loud mouth new yorker attitude, he picks when he chimes in very carefully so when he does say something people tend to shut the fuck up and listen. I admire that man so fucking much for so many reasons. I watched a good chunk of the hour interview just to hear him speak to be quite honest.

Epic song, and even better CD.

Seriously, check it out.

My friend has a music site that breaks leaks or new music among lots of genres if you guys wanna check it out.

WHO IS THIS SHITTING IN THE TEMPLE OF MUSIC!??!?!?!

The funniest part about listening to them is the moment you realize just how serious they are. Anyone who has an open taste in hip-hop should check them out as behind their jokester appearance they are actually some of the most talented young rappers I’ve seen.

“hard to read like finnegans wake” lmfao

Some of my favoruite Wiz Khalifa songs that I haven’t posted yet:

Wiz Khalifa- In the Cut [Off of Kush & Orange Juice, Wiz’s best mixtape]

Wiz Khalifa- Ink My Whole Body [Off of Star Power…underrated Wiz mixtape]

Wiz Khalifa- The Thrill [Off of the otherwise shitty Burn After Rolling]

His album’s out in less than a week I believe.[/quote]

Wiz is coming to my school mid may. Fuuuuuuuck hope i survive that night

^Nice. Hopefully he doesn’t do too many songs of his new record, though :D. Was kind of disappointed by it.

Not an R&B fan for the most part but this guy is great:

Pretty dark sounding stuff. He [they?] is getting a lot of underground buzz right now. They’ve also gotten cosigns from guys like Drake and his producer 40.

Apparently the one guy is from Toronto, but the best parts of this song are Smoke DZA’s verse, and the beat.

Look for Smoke DZA’s other stuff, he just put out another free album.

New Ghostface Killa album. The Apollo Kids. Sickest album out right now in my opinion.

Stalley’s nice:

Just signed with Rick Ross’ label [even though they don’t sound similar at all]. Good to see his producer Rashad is gonna get some good work and a shot at the big time.

Anyone heard this guy?

He’s fucking good though, right?

This shit is new to me, god damn… Old Em creeping back.

Don’t know if this is new to you guys or not.

Nice chilled stuff, the lead singer has an amazingly souful/bluesy voice.
