I don’t want to pretend like I’m your mom, but maybe you should calm down the driving fast. Maybe get a Buick Regale, listen to classical music, smoke a pipe, cut out all that unhealthy meat, instead of lifting all that silly weight, just sit on your porch and relax.
LOL

For any Kanye West, or backpack/underground/old school rap fans.
^Produced by Q-Tip, and featuring Talib Kweli and Consequence. But Kanye had the best verse
Apparently this is an itunes bonus cut on his new album out on the 22nd. But it says that version only features M.I.A., so I dunno if Talib’s and Consequence’s verses are on the album version of this.
Looking for Trouble (Feat. Pusha-T, Cyhi Da Prynce, J.Cole & Big Sean) - Kanye West
^Not sure who produced, could be Kanye or Cole. Sorry that for the slowed down version, youtube deletes the regular version. Everybody had good verses but Cole -the last guy on the song- and Kanye had the best verses. Look out for J. Cole, who just released a new mixtape called Friday Night Lights. Hes dope.
The new Kid Cudi album was pretty dope. Musically darker aside from a few songs, but lyrically its still shit, haha. Whatever, I dont listen to Cudi for lyrics, just hooks and good beats.
The new Cee-Lo album. The Lady Killer, is out too. Haven?¨t listened to it yet, but I will today or tomorrow.
The reviews for the new Kanye album have been amazing so far, including a rare 5 star review from Rolling Stone: My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy - Wikipedia . I can tell you it?¨s the most sonically ambitious hip hop album Ive ever heard. Power is actually one of the more modest beats, haha. Late Registration is still Kanyes best album but this one is already better than Graduation, and might be better than College Dropout IMO.

Man that second youtube song is so fcukin catchy.
Yeah man, it’s crazy neither Kanye nor Cole are using it for their albums. It’s a bonmus on the Cole mixtape though [I’m guessing you already have it].
Aaaaaaaaaawwwww damn! First Lil Wayne single of Carter 4 and his first single since coming out of jail:
It’s called 6’7’’ and it features Cory Gunz. I’d post the youtube link but on youtube all the versions are sped up, and Wayne and Cory’s voices are squeaky enough. Anyway, Wayne delivered, the beat is by the same guy that did A Milli and it lives up to that beat. Cory’s bars are nice, like REALLY nice, but I really don’t like his voice for some reason. And he resorts to double-timing his flow too often from what I noticed. This is why he was on the original version of A Milli and then got taken of at the end. He was good on this song though.
This isn’t new, but it’s great, and I didn’t know where else to put it. The whole album is great. If you haven’t listened to it for a while, go ahead and do that. If you’ve never listened to it, go get it.

Man…Jeezy lost most of the buzz for his new album. Here were some of the good songs leaked from his album early on this year and late last year:
Sounded like it was gonna be a good record. But his last couple of mixtapes and leaked songs have been weak. I still think the album will be good, if it gets released. Crazy how quick you can fall, at the start of the year he was doing guest verses on Rihanna singles, now he’s got no release date on his album.
Some ‘new’ songs on my MP3 Player at the moment:
Disturbed - The infection
Bullet for my valentine - Begging for mercy
Chevelle - A new momentum
Avenged Seven Fold - Critical acclaim
Stone Sour - Hell and consequences
Slipknot - Pulse of the maggots
Papa Roach - My heart is a fist
Incubus - Pendulous threads
Muse - Bliss
Chevelle - Vena sera album
Linkin Park - Wretches and Kings
Christmas In Harlem - Kanye West feat. Camâ??ron, Jim Jones, Vado, CyHi Da Prynce, Pusha T, Musiq Soulchild, Teyana Taylor & Big Sean
Pretty great sounding Christmas song IMO. Download link:
Kanye leaked it on his blog first, so I think it’s okay to post here.
There already a lot of music threads and figured starting a new one would be dumb. So, I thought it would be best to post here instead.
I recently lost my IPOD and along with it all my music. I never got around to saving it and had erased my limewire files. So, as a way to start over and perhaps find new music what are some of your favorite bands, singers, etc. by genre?? No need for videos, lists are cool.
I have been lokking through this thread and have already found some good stuff.
