I still wish James Cameron stuck around to make a feature-length version of this:

It sounds so cliched but modern cinema and the use of CG pails in comparison to simple rear screen projection and models.
These scenes in the first Terminator are so visceral and incredibly bleak, I would love Steve McQueen to make a future war Terminator movie someday lol.

The rights go back to James Cameron in 2019 so it might happen.
Slightly interested to see how they play around with the timeline but Iām not keen on the little brunette as a replacement for T2 Linda Hamilton.

Simply for the same reason I am excited for Star Wars 7, itās going to play on my nostalgia yet move a beloved franchise in a new direction. And who can fucking hate the idea of Chris Pratt as the leader of a Raptor gang?!

I agree.
I fucking love Jurassic Park and just the plain fact of seeing dinosaurs on screen (We need more movies with dinosaurs).
JP 2 and 3 donāt come close to comparing to JP, and JP 3 in particular is just filled with absurd plot-holes, but theyāre fun films to watch regardless.

I agree. Canāt get enough of dinosaurs!

I still donāt know how I feel about the genetic splicing angle. Will go see anyway but liked the idea of just regular old dinosaurs better.

Awesome. I didnāt know they were doing another one. I will be checking this out in the theater.

I like the premise of the new film.
I think weāre supposed to not like the fact that they made a new dinosaur, for one thing. Because to us the concept of living dinosaurs is amazing. To the fictional occupants of the JP world though, living dinosaurs have been around for a while now, and people are nowā¦bored. Of living dinosaurs.
Seriously, if they pull off the premise right/keep it tight and focused, then this could be a genuinely good film.

What?
The park is finally opening and there are tons of people there, Iām not sure how that equates to āboredomā amongst the populous of the JP universe.
A T-Rex running around San Diego doesnāt make the entire world, or even America alone, bored of dinosaur encounters.
That said, yes I donāt think weāre supposed to like the genetic splicing angle, thatās always been part of the agenda of this series, āhumanity shouldnāt play god.ā

No. The park has been open for quite a while in Jurassic World. I forget how long, but at least 10 years I think.

Are there tons of people there to see the new breed of dinosaur? Couldnāt tell from the preview.

20th Century Fox and director Neil Blomkamp confirm Alien Sequel. This is not Prometheus 2.

I like Neill Blomkamp. He admitted Elysium couldāve been a lot better. He was my first choice to direct the Black Panther movie but I suppose thatās out of the question now that heās working on this.
