I wonder how Brooks feels about this his books are slow movers they get you in numbers and emotion. In fact in his interviews he prefers slow walkers not the meth zombies
Thatâs from a few years ago, but I canât imagine his opinion changed all that much. I think Paramount and/or Plan B (Brad Pittâs production company) fully bought the movie rights to the book, and they went through a few screenwriters to end up with this finished product. Iâm wondering if Brooks is under any kind of gag order as part of selling the rights. Unless my Google-fu is weak, I canât find any recent interviews with him regarding the movie.
From the full trailer, it looks good enough. I just still canât wrap my head around it being at all related to, or derived from, the book. Itâs like turning Derek Jeterâs autobiography into a movie starring Jack Black.
Yeah I saw sometjing else where he wasnât as blunt about it. Bradd probably did buy the rights but if what I read is true this is a trilogy and maybe
Theyâll start off fast and become slower as they decay? Hollywood needs to hire my fan boy ass
Ladies and gents, welcome to the last big zombie film.
If this flops and doesnât at least double the $$$ it took to make this film, then no more funds will go to any film remotely resembling an âinfectedâ storyline.
So even if you think this might suck, you need to hope that it doesnât sink.
Iâve been waiting for this one. they had the world premier at âHartwall Arenaâ, Helsinki, Finland, on November 10, and the audience was treated to both a full-scale Nightwish concert and the world premiere of the movie. better than the hollywood red carpet!
just hope it comes to a theater near me!

Hereâs me a while ago curling in the squat rack with my friend. Iâm the one talking and filming at first. Then when I go in my buddy for some reason turns the camera around like itâs an iPhone. Sorry.
I say kudos to Brad Pitt signing on to put some real money behind a zombie movie.
Donât really care about the speed of the zombies. Zack Snyderâs Dawn of the Dead had both: fast in open spaces or as individuals; slow in enclosed, zombie-rich areas.
I agree with Roybot. Itâs cool that someone backed such a large budget zombie flick. If youâre looking for a faithful recreation of the book then youâll probably be disappointed. I wasnât a huge fan of the book so keeping to to the original story isnât as important to me as getting my moneyâs worth out of a theater visit.
I think itâs going to be an enjoyable movie that keeps me entertained for a couple of hours.

Hahaha! Great Arnold impersonation, Nards. You do Tintin, you do Arnold, you do Rody Piper. Lol!
