Yes, I think Kirsten Stewart is super hot. It’s another case of one of those girls who is cute, but their mannerisms just top it off for me. Don’t really know how else to explain it.
Shes cute, but have you ever seen the girl in an interview or anything thats not a scripted movie, MOST AWKWARD PERSON EVER!!!

It’s annoying whenever someone is getting made fun of for being average, then people come to his rescue and says that they’re bigger than most of the people on this site. I hope that’s not true…
But it is true. You haven’t been paying attention? I bet 80% of the people here don’t look that filled out.

x2,he will soon fade out though or wont keep it up these lads tend to be a “one trick pony”.

It is only because it is the new “Titanic”. That first one sucked, plane and simple. You would think anything presenting such a Sesame Street version of vampires would be laughed out of the theater…but not when the lead captures the hearts of 14 year old girls the world over.

It would be good to see how he has progressed in the 3rd & 4th film

At least hes taking his training seriously and taking the ‘muscular and ripped’ view hollywood has in the right direction.

I’m sick of looking in my GF’s magazines with pictures of Zac Efron etc. with captions saying how muscular he is.

He’s no arnold, but he is an actor first and foremost after all.

And to think that David Slade(director of 30 Days Of Night) basically called out Twilight for the way it presented vampires and such…YET signed on to direct the the next Twilight movie,Eclipse. Typical…but maybe he can actually give it some validity…a BIG maybe.

For real shits and giggles go on to YouTube and look at all the ‘‘Fuck you Stephen King!!!111oneone’’ video’s put up by Twilight fans. I almost feel embarassed for them.

you know prof x,

you maybe right… but still is a decent start and could go bigger. there’s 3 men i consider that have

muscular boddies maybe bigger than hollywood standards: Mark Walberg, Sylvester Stallone and christain Bale

i dont include Arnold beacause he’s unique.

hah…at least you know what the book is about!

The books are a total phenomenon; movie options followed. Every teen and preteen girl is eating the books up with a spoon. Even before the movies came out, there was “Team Edward” and “Team Jacob.” That is, girls who wanted Bella, the main character, to end up with the vampire, Edward, or the werewolf, Jacob. Love triangle at its best, haha. The books are passably written, not stellar by any means, imho. I personally was a little disgusted with the way the author tied up the last book in such a happy little ending…

I am a librarian working with teens, so I like the books because they got kids reading! Yes, mostly girls. Reading, because of Harry Potter and a few other books like the Twilight series, is considered cool again. Or at least not so totally nerdy that you have to hide your books behind a magazine. Once the girls read the Twilight series, I can coax them into reading other books by saying it is kind of like the Twilight books.

A tip for you younger guys who might be reading this–get conversant in the world of Twi, and you very well might score. One afternoon I was talking to a couple of girls who were rabid about the series, telling them about a site I had stumbled across called Twilight Guy. It is written by a guy whose girlfrind is fanatical about the books. The site is basically his blog, discussing his thoughts as he reads the books, to better understand the phenomenon and his girlfriend. One of the young ladies said she could totally go for a guy who was into Twilight. I had to laugh, because after she said it, one of the young men who overheard had logged into the twilightguy.com website.

Remember the demographic for the books, and therefore the movies–tween and teen girls. Compared to the majority of middle school and high school aged boys, these actors ARE pretty buff!

Kid had to put on 30 lbs of muscle just to keep his part, they were gonna cast somebody else in the role for the 2nd,3rd, and 4th movie, he has been interviewed about his eating and training, seems like a decent enough guy. He even said he would sometimes go just get a milkshake to get some more calories in.

Funny I remember this, but he was in an episode of “Cheap Seats” on ESPN classic a few years ago because he was in a martial arts tournament that they showed, guy can still do standing back tucks and shit.

Never a shortage of people hating on this board.

There is never a good enough reason to ‘sell out’ (if youre a guy that actually enjoys reading them, do your thing (not YOU personally, guys in general)). Not even to get laid. These books are good way to weed out the ‘crazy delusional fantasy world girls’ from the ‘heads on straight dateable ones’.

That would be another typical example of guys becoming empty shells of men just to get with some lame ass girl.

Theres enough of that shit going around.

Was the OP talking about the Edward character or the other guy? I saw the first few episodes in the TV series, then saw that Edward guy all over the place.

There are people who think he’s muscular. I don’t think anyone who doesn’t think he’s muscular would be hating.

If he’s talking about the other guy, that’s a little different. He’s about as muscular as the guy who plays Superman on the TV series Smallville (who my wife is in love with).

Yeah, he was told to bulk up or lose the role (kind of ironic considering he’s now one of the most muscular members of the pack). And yes, he is an accomplished black belt - his instructor submitted him for his role in The Adventures of Shark boy and Lava Girl

Maybe I missed it, but again… who the fuck is New Moon?

did he play the major role on Twilight?

I have to admit that I’ve not yet read the books. Although I do know that New Moon involves werewolves (that’s not a spoiler since it has already been mentioned on this thread).

I generally watch more movies than I read books, but I like to enjoy a given story in whatever medium fits it best…

I will read the books at some point, but I’ll probably never watch the movies (learned that lesson the hard way with Harry Potter). Even so, I’ll give credit where it’s due and say that this kid Taylor Lautner has put on a fair amount of muscle in a considerably short space of time, given his starting point.

Also, the fact that Hollywood bods now seem to be urging actors to gain mass for a role can only be a good thing. The guy playing Thor (Chris Hemsworth) has already started to put on visible mass compared to his previous roles, and the movie is still months from shooting. I’ve said it before, but I hope that 2010 means(in Hollywood)that ‘muscular’ is the new ‘skinny’…

I read the books (started good except for the love bullshit).
I was hoping the werewolves would look like this:

I know they required that all the actors for the wolfpack had papers showing that they descended from a native american tribe, I wonder if that stopped them from getting larger guys, in the book all they talk about is how gigantic they are, and here outside of Jacob they all look like they would need to add some muscle for an A&F advertisement

Movie Magic can make Tom Cruise look built and give half the guys in 300 insta-abs. That is why so many of these newbies though Brad Pitt was huge even though if they saw him on the street he would be nowhere near as impressive as they thought he was.

Either way, if New Moon is truly “everywhere” to anyone, maybe they should cut back on the MTV. This thread is the most discussion I have even run across about this movie.

I think the real discussion is in why so few people here are on the same level or beyond as this actor.
