I got nothing against Kanye’s music (I like it) so don’t take it as such (cuz peeps get butthurt so easily) but your statement is so goofy to think that either one is going to ‘fade’ anytime soon.
They’re both pretty young, at the tops of their games, and still have mucho fuel in the tank. Neither one is going away anytime soon.
Dead serious. You guys were saying that Taylor would outlast Kanye and blow him out of the water.

I’ll contribute, one of the better tracks on the album.
EDIT- My bad, I thought this was the Rick Ross thread, still a good track tho.
It’s a pretty good song. Drake’s part of that song is kind of ehhh, but he had a great remix over that beat:
I think Rick took Drake’s verse off because he was worried about being outshined. Apparently Jay-Z did the same thing with Drake on Off That.
Nice you didn’t listen to song I posted. It has Drake’s verse added to it, that’s why it’s seven minuets long.
Oh damn my bad, I thought you had posted the album version, since you said ‘one of the better tracks on the album’.
Didn’t know Drake did a song over a Coldplay sampled beat, but it’s pretty good. Just looked it up and it’s from the CD version of So Far Gone-I only DLed the original version. I liked Thank Me Later but So Far Gone was a much better record in my opinion. Same subject matter, but he did it better.
It’s crazy he only sold like 460k first week, too. The winter before he had an EP that went gold. No one does that anymore. Bad choices for singles, and waiting too long to put out the record I guess.

Have you all read some of these comments?:
Kanye West is Illuminati now?
lol yeah I don’t know where it started but it’s a trend for rappers to be accused of being in the Illuminati now. Jay-Z get’s it way worse, if I had a nickel for every time I’ve heard him referred to as the Illuminated Camel or something like that…
Did you end up getting the Big Boi album? It was pretty decent overall. Not as great as I’d hoped based on the four or five songs that leaked, but oh well.
^Dope sample. Sounded great when Kanye used it on This Can’t Be Life, sounds even better here.
^Andre3000 doesn’t even rap anymore so it’s crazy he can just come out for a guest spot and destroy a track like this. One of the best verses I heard in 08/09, by a guy who’s not even motivated. Crazy.
The angel chick in the beginning is the perfect woman. Do not question this. Don’t tell me she is airbrushed as nothing will break my quest to wed her.

Mine comment was meant in jest. They are fine indeed.

That’s racist.
I know. But you guys still say it anyway.
Sad response.
Oh, well, hopefully you’ll grow out of ‘one-trick-pony’ mode – boring!

Pootie, Brotha you really had to ask. And yeah I would had to make that a closed set.
New Kanye song. Produced by Kanye West, No ID , and Lex Luger…yesterday. And they just decided to leak it the next day. Awesome.
See Me Now ft. Beyonce and Charlie Wilson
This beat sounds like Yes older stuff. Nice. The lyrics are kind of eehhh, Kanyes clearly on autopilot for most of it. This is good enough to be a bonus cut on the album, or maybe an album track. Not single material, though.
A new Power Remix with Jay-Z is supposed to come out Friday. And the whole album is scheduled to be released on November 16.
Old leak, unfinished song, from late last year:
It might get on the album in better [and definitely longer] form. When it first leaked they were saying it was a song Ye was doing for Diddy’s album, but now it might make the new Kanye.
New Kanye West Song that just came out last night:
“Monster” featuring Rick Ross, Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, Bon Iver [yup], and Charlie Wilson
^That includes a download link, since the song might not be for sale for a few weeks.
This song is DOPE. The beat is low key but it perfect, Kanye’s showing his new and improved flow, and he and Jay have great verses. I kind of think Nicki stole the show, but if anyone wants a version without her on here’s a link to that too, haha:
I’d post youtube links, but they get taken down so quickly and the only ones still on are either sped up or slowed down. Not to mention this song leaked first on Kanye’s twitter… so he wants people to download it.
-Kanye and RZA will be doing most or all of the beats on the next Nas record. You gotta love that Ye seeks out rappers to try to make a classic with. Common, Jay, now Nas.
-Kanye and No ID are doing the production the next Common record. I might have already said that, since that news has been out for a while. Anyway if you were a fan of Be and Finding Forever, you should look foreword to the new Common.
-Kanye and Jay-Z are doing a joint EP that should be out in a few weeks and includes Monster.
-Kanye said he’ll be releasing a new song every Friday. Monster was the first in that series.
