New Diet Causing Canker Sores?

Ever since I started cleaning up “eating cleaner” in the food department while increasing from the normal 2 to 3 meals a day to 6 my mouth has been breaking out with canker sores. It seems as soon as one goes away a new one comes. What is the deal?

try taking lysine and multivitamins to keep your immune system up to snuff.

Maybe you have herpes.

You may be eating some foods which actually require chewing now. Any stress in the mouth can cause a cancer sore as can any big change to the routine. It’s probably just some kind of withdrawal from certain foods.

You also may be getting more alkaline or acidic-less buffered food choices.

You also might not be getting enough calories now or not be getting enough fat.

Oral herpes (cold sores) are almost always limited to one or the other lateral side of the mouth.

Canker sores are different from cold sores…

It could have to do with new foods/products you might be consuming

B vitamins help.

Most people don’t know the difference. Canker sores have often been related to stress and yes, it could be herpes considering the limited info we were given.

I am more interested in how he is training lately and if the only change has been his diet. Canker sores are not generally caused by foods. This is an immune system anomaly.
