I’m kind of surprised at all the IMAX fans here. Obviously it’s a different experience but when the screen is that wide, there’s simply no way to catch everything that’s happening.
Of course I didn’t realize this until subsequent viewings, but that’s the lesson I took away from the 2nd Matrix and that 3rd X-men anyway.

You have to sit in the back, the very back.
There is no more important venue to show up early for than an IMAX movie. If you’re in the front 1/2 of that theater, there’s no way your peripheral vision can take it all in.
If you have a good seat, however, it’s awesome.

I read that too. However, they only show IMAX previews of movies that are going to be released in IMAX format.
I’m not sure if T4 is going to be or not, so I might miss out on that preview, which sucks ass.
