Plug in some cool effects, gore and Nine Inch Nails music and the new Conan movie might be safe to watch without holding a bucket to catch vommit and tears, but it will never be Conan like we remember.
I really hate it when they rape my childhood memories like this. I feel ashamed too…and also a bit violated.
I read the Marvel comics “Savage Sword of Conan” back in the 80s and found the Dark Horse reprints and have numbers 1 through 7…look at that beautiful Conan rainbow!!!
I also think I posted this pic before in another thread about the new Conan a few months back.
