New Business Failures

Actually, 2 posts up @Basement_Gainz gave him a job lead.

I think he might have run with it!

Honestly, good for him if that’s true. I hope he gets his miracle treatment.

It actually pains me to see that. I can somewhat understand the desperation that drives people to seek those types of solutions. I hope that what ever he tries works. The only thing worse than the desperation is the disappointment that follows.

This was done on purpose. They made a ton of money on the way up and then got bailed out. Pretty sweet, ow that worked out.

The only way I could get back to work is through stem cell treatment not the garbage sold by pharma primarily for profit.

When single-payer gets here. Hopefully pharma is next in the cross hairs so their reign of terror comes to an end and people who suffer can get help instead having their disease used as a profit center. Maybe you should start a system that holds people accountable for things they have no responsibility for. Oh we already have that, it’s called the U.S. Awesome system you champion.

Did the hamsters tell you that?

You are aware the government made money off the banks, right?

Word, that’s why every penny you get is given to you by tax payers. Your roof, your food, your medicine all subsidized by tax payers. What an awful system we have!

It said hamster model. Does that mean that particular study was done on hamsters or was it based on a study done on hamsters and it was used as a model?

WAHAHAHA

Oh my fucking god, dude…

Lemme try to nip this in the bud.

@Zeppelin795, if you’re being serious about this, it shows me you learned absolutely nothing from your time-out and are ready to dive right back into the same pattern of behavior, meaning there’s little to no reason for you to continue posting.

Is that the case?

Guys, it’s clear we’re not talking about hamster models rather…

From asking a question?

While I haven’t stopped laughing since that day, seriously this shows me one of two things.

  1. You are too lazy to read the study beyond the abstract.

  2. You have read the study but you are too stupid to understand it.

Which is it?

From being incapable of simply saying ā€œI was wrongā€, and instead choosing to defend the indefensible.

Again, if that’s the mindset you’re taking towards discussions, it’s unnecessary to participate on the forum.

And the other posters are held to the same standard?

Without a doubt. If you have concerns about a specific post, Flag it for review to highlight the problem. Though I haven’t seen any other members trying to argue that the sky is green and the grass is blue.

As I’ve likely explained before, discussions in the PWI forum get some leeway in terms of debate methods and thread hijacks/tangential topics, but a fundamental principle that’s always observed is addressing the issues that are raised and having a reasonably intelligent exchange of opinions.

The amount of sidestepping, ignoring straight-forward inquiries, and drastic misinterpretation of points is out of hand. If you’re not up for meeting the relatively low bar of forum expectations, that’s your decision.

So what does your infinite wisdom say about this?

Ya @Basement_Gainz That A Level Economics teacher really showed you!

Translation: Hi, my name is Zeppelin, I know nothing about economics so I googled " Which one happens first, demand or supply? and pasted an answer I agree with here.

And you want them to be allowed to do it again by lending to you? Why exactly are you in favor or lowering regs on the financial industry?

That doesn’t automatically make you able to pay it back. Not only do you have essentially zero marketable skills, but stem cells getting you back to work is still a Longshot.

Better than the system you champion. Where lenders can go back to predatory lending practices.

Thanks for the info.
