Nevada Cattle Ranch

That’s not what I meant at all. Although I do understand how you can take it that way.

The rancher had a stand off. These armed militia brought guns into a situation that didn’t involve them. It wasn’t their fight to fight but they wanted to square off with someone to show how tough they are.

You and I have some things in common as well

No wonder you two agree on this. Wasn’t too long ago right here on PWI he was wishing death on another group of innocent folks too. Funny how the world turns.
I don’t care about views from another thread when having a debate in this thread. It is funny how the world turns when you bring up another thread that I have no clue what you are talking about in making a point of why we agree on this thread.

The militia in this discussion are not innocent, they have brought firearms to a stand off and raised those firearms in the direction of the BLM

Usually though with the likes of you, it’s ya’ll hoping someone else does the killing.
I am not “hoping” for anyone to get killed

he probably did  Is that Jerry Lewis ?

I imagine the militia guys would have left if Bundy asked them to do so. If he didn’t want them there, he would have asked them to leave. The militia guys were no more in a situation that didn’t involve them than almost any member of any state military in the world.

I’m not 100% sure, but I think it is Jerry Lewis.

If one’s not a pussy for wishing death on a group of Americans willing to stand in solidarity against Leviathan he surely is a bonafide asshole. So take your pick.

No apologies from me, girls.
You mean a group of Americans taking up arms for a man who willingly defaulted on a contract. If that makes me an asshole then so be it. I’ve been called worse.

We obviously see the situation with the militia differently. No point in discussing further. Unless you want to call me more names in which case please feel free. If you need some ideas let me know.

Doesnt matter if you’ve done 500 years of service and 3 dozen tours if you are wishing death on the folks standing with Bundy, armed or not, you are an asshole or pussy – take your pick.

If not, you are free to clarify.

I never said I wished death on those folks. I don’t wish death on anyone. If they find it then that’s a completely different matter.

These guys went into a tense situation with the intent of making it even more tense. That makes them no better than the BLM which all of you are protesting.

Public property problems…I remember learning in school about how lucky I was that the government bought a bunch of land so that I would always have access to it. I wonder how that’s working out for Cliven Bundy?

Is there another country which can and does violate its population’s sense of right and wrong quite like this one? North Korea and some of the Arab countries do some horrendous things, I’m sure, but do even they oppose the wishes of as many of their citizens as this government?
pushharder wrote:
Government never bought this land. It should have been placed in the state of Nevada’s hands a hundred years ago. The feds have no business owning 87% of all the land within a state’s borders. What a complete and utter joke.
No doubt…I’m having trouble imagining who would oppose the individual states if they were to rebel against the federal government.(Obviously excluding the military and the rest of the federal government)

…as far as what is taught in school about public land…no, government didn’t buy it, but would you really expect the regime to teach facts? I also learned that the United States fought the American Civil War to end slavery…not to enslave everyone.

“Should have…” the only bigger word is “if.”

The Federal government, whether you like it or not, has primary rights dating to precedent of the Northwest Ordinances. It had no need to “buy” the land–It “owned” the land prior to the establishment of the Territory of Nevada or its statehood.

If you’re going to start saying how the government “owned” the land, and has rights to it, then you best not ignore the indigenous people that were there first, and would have already had claim to it, but we all know how that ended don’t we.
