Some very great books, all of you have added to the list.
I would suggest these:
Developing The Leader Within You
John C. Maxwell
Enthusiasm Makes the Difference
Norman Vincent Peale
How to Win Friends and Influence People
Dale Carnegie, Arthur R. Pell
These are POWERFUL Books. If they rock your world let me know and I would be willing to give you more. If these books don’t have an impact on you ,I would check yourself into the Hospital because you are probably not alive…
I find anything by Deepak Chopra very enlightening to say the least. They have definately been a life changers for me.
Kiss and Make Up by Gene Simmons
Immigrant boy comes to America with no money and barely speaks the language, ends up the lead singer of Kiss, wealthy beyond belief and conquerer of over 4,000 women!!! Inspirational and funny. Read it several times.
Marilyn Manson’s autobiography, “Long Hard Road Out of Hell”, was a pretty good book. I came away with it having a MUCH better understanding of why Manson and his entourage are banned from so many cities… and it has nothing to do with his music or his message.
Count of Monte Cristo
Madame Bovary
The World According to Garp
The Red and the Black
Anything Shakespeare wrote - the sheer brilliance of his ability to create social commentaries alongside of his ability to tell a good story.
Thank god someone mentioned
The Fountainhead
and Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. These two books I can honestly say have given me insight into my own self and own personal philosophy like nothing else. Rand was an absolutely amazing writer and philosopher and her philosophy is quite interesting. She is able to put into words how I have always felt and to me that is priceless. I highly suggest reading these two books, especially to people who are highly motivated, disciplined and creative.
There are no children here. Easily the best book I’ve ever read. And as an interesting side note, after I read it I was shootin the shit with my pops [who I don’t talk with much]and found out it was a mandatory read for his students when he was teaching [as a sociology professor]. Life is fucking odd.
