Need Help With Blood Work

Here is a snippet from my recent blood work. My Total T is really low which it typical is but my Free T is a lot higher than usual it is usually around 10. Do you think a clinic (not Doctor) would put me on TRT and should I go on TRT with these numbers?

Also, my DHEA is so high I believe becuase I was taking 200mg a day. I have since stopped doing this.

Yes. It’s a money grab. If you want it, they will prescribe it.

How do you feel?

What makes you want to get on TRT?

What makes me want to go on it is Low Sex drive, I don’t get full hard erections anymore, tired pretty much after lunch time and can take 2 naps.

I’m 38 and went to my Primary Doctor 5 years ago for the symptoms i mentioned above and they found Thyroid cancer so I had a Thyroidectomy than so I chalked it up to that even though when we did blood work everything was fine, my Total T was around 400 and my Free T from Quest was around 60 ( there test is different than LabCorp). Ever since that my T Levels have been the same.

I just done understand Labcorp Free T test compared to Quest. My Quest test always is very low and this Labcorp (Direct) Test seems to be in the Optimal Range

Free Test testing is garbage. I’ve had bloodwork taken by both labcorp and quest; labcorp showed my fT was at the top-end of the range and quest said I was at the bottom. Both are suspect.

you fit? you watch what you eat? do you use alcohol or rec drugs?

On your comment about the clinic will put me on it no matter is kind of my worry. I went to my Endocrinologist last year and he said I’m a prime candidate for it but he said insurance wouldn’t cover TRT but my worry is he doesn’t have the knowledge in the TRT field that others may have.

Yeah I’m fit most people would say. I’m 6’0 198 and around 12-15% BF. I eat healthy 90% is healthy 10% is what most would say unhealthy. I will have a couple of drinks on the weekend with the wife to unwind and no drugs.

do you get good sleep?

I think you actually have hyperthyroidism due to the below range TSH, and maybe not low-T.

So stop the DHEA and then retest the TSH.

Sleep is perfect I have a sleep Tracker and average 8 hours 22 minutes, 56m Deep, 2:33 REM, 4:53 Light, 4m awake.

I would say yes but I get the Thyroid levels checked every 3-6 months due to my Thyroidectomy and this is the first time my Thyroid levels have been off like that. I will say that my symptoms I mentioned have been a bit more and it makes sense why.

I was reading your post earlier. Do you like Mike from Defy?

I do.

I do what?

Sure, he started me off of a relatively high TRT dose and he wasn’t fussy about me having physique aspirations that are well above what most people are capable of.

He also taught me a few things, which is invaluable in itself.

I encourage you to have a list of 10-20 questions and interview several clinics.

is there a minimum order, contract, ai premixed, order without buying alcohol swabs and needles(overpriced better to source yourself), how often labs, where are labs (quest or labcorb), will you waive the startup costs(they often will), offer tadalafil

Matrix is awesome.

Thanks for the info man. Based on my blood work and symptoms do you think it’s something I should pursue?

Sure? Sounds like your mixed about it.

I’m not qualified to say one way or the other.

I would have a free consultation with several clinics about your symptoms and get professional advice.
