Need Help with Blood Test Results

Hi guys, I have new blood test results And would like some advice on my next move.
Previously I was taking 200mg of test cyp once a week but decided to change my protocol because of constantly raising estradiol and because it was to much test for me peaking at 1350 ng/dL while the ranges were 250 - 827 and my estradiol was at 42 and the ranges are < or = 39.
I wasn’t feeling my best tho I wasn’t feeling as bad as now.
So I decided to change my my protocol to daily injections of 16mg and started feeling worse of the bat my new test results on this protocols are the following.
Estradiol 57 same ranges
Shbg 7 range is 10 - 50 super low
Testosterone I’m waiting for these result should be in by tomorrow.

What gives idk why my shbg is so low is that what driving up my estradiol or vice versa…
Was 16mg daily way too much?
Is this the right protocol? Any info and advice will be appreciated currently feel high e2 symptoms this idk what low shbg symptoms would be.

E2 here may be listed as high on the reference range… However when compared to a Testosterone level of 1350 ng/dl this is a good ratio.

Do you have labs from the previous protocol at trough? Also how long were you on this dosage/frequency for?

From when I was on that protocol I only had those labs done testosterone and estradiol. And I was on that protocol for about 7 weeks before the labs.

This dosage could be too high for you… Only way to know is to stick with it for atleast 6 weeks and draw up labs. From there we can dial in and adjust as needed. Do not keep changing dosages and frequency without sticking with it for atleast 6 weeks.

What made you ultimately want to switch your protocol after 7 weeks? You say you were feeling better… I have read from many others that the benefits and upside of TRT can take much longer to manifest itself. Sometimes months to really feel it…

One last note here: 200mg/weekly is a very agressive intial approach. 100mg weekly would have been a much better start to TRT. Do you have your pre-TRT labs? Also how is Thyroid function?

You need daily injections or I imagine you will always be battling high estrogen. I have low SHBG and daily injections is the only way to get estrogen in range. You don’t even need a high Total T, you’ll probably only need 450 ng/dL or less to get FT to the top.

It would be for me, I only need 7mg daily (49mg weekly).

Yes I know that why’s I change from 200 mg a week to daily injections… 16mg daily, on this protocol after 6 weeks my shbg is 7 and estradiol is 57… real sensitive I would inject at 6 am and start feeling all side already around noon… if I lower to perhaps 10mg daily will shbg rise?

My SHBG jumped from 16->22 on the 7mg daily protocol, my SHBG as of yesterday being off TRT for 7 months was 13. I can advise you on dosing once I see where 16mg daily puts you.

Before that I was at 100mg once a week but all those labs are in the old docs clinics since he was garbage and never let me in the details but I was like worse at that dose then before trt

Alright thanks as soon as I get my results I’ll put them up.

!00 mg once a week is not ideal. However 50mg/2x weekly is more appropriate. You might have felt worse at 100mg weekly due to the swing and fluctuations in your levels… At this point it is wise to stick to your current protocol for a full 6 weeks and retest. Post your lab work at the 6 week mark and we will go from there. Also log your day to day mood, libido, energy until then. Sometimes number chasing is a sure fire way to run in circles. Focus on what makes you FEEL better.

Yeah that’s usually why I test because I don’t feel good lol my thyroid is really good so test that once a year.

I read an older post which said you was taking an ai on your eod protocol. Was you able to drop it moving to Ed injections or are you still taking any.
What’s your current protocol?

I turned out to be an AI over-responder, I found 7mg daily to be dialed in.

I stopped TRT to take care of some issues, but am restarting TRT shortly. I have been off TRT for about 8 months (at 91 ng/dL) and have had erections the entire time, but energy is fading and muscles are sore.

Wow. That’s cool I hope you got everything straighten. I never got my testosterone results because the lab said they broke my vial while transporting it… they wanted me to go in for another test of course on them, but haven’t had time and just gonna save it for my next blood work I’m now on 16mg eod and gonna retest in about 5 weeks been on this for one week… depending on how blood comes back I’ll see what I do but I also over respond to ai but my E skyrockets on every protocol I been so far so if my test, free test look good but E still high I will give dayli protocol another chance maybe like 8mg daily I was doing 16mg daily last protocol but nothing fun about that E sides where killing me.

Let me ask you a question, you said you are a over responder yo ai, what dose were you taking while you was doing the 16mg test cyp eod protocol and how often?

I was taking 1/8 of 0.050 anastrozole 1x weekly. Prior to taking the AI estrogen was 53 pg/mL. The AI screws up my knees, hips and can only imagine what it’s doing to my bones.

1/8 of .50 mg is super low almost nothing a week. I been changing my protocol none stop because of e2 issues no matter how much I lower my test or chow frequent I inject it never gets under 40 and I feel high e2 sides the most. I just dissolved 10, 1mg pills of anastrazole in 10ml of vodka and thinking of of doing .10 once a week. Also over responder but only if I go to .25 once a week

You went from 200mg a week to 112mg a week and now you feel worse.

Do we really need to answer this question as to why? Is it not obvious?

200mg a week is the starting dose for most of the docs I deal with. You cut your dose almost in half mostly because of numbers.

I would have stuck with the 200 and done more frequent injections, assessed how you felt after at least 6 weeks, and not worried about numbers on a piece of paper. Then reduced or increased as required.

Lucky, I was started on 250mg e3w (I knew this wasn’t adequate)… instead of dealing with the bs troughs and peaks some testosterone suspension magically found its way into my hands (there was a hurricane, and a gust of wind forced a batch out of a distributors hands and into my hands) and I used that alongside, unless the provider wanted bloods… then I’d stop 2 days prior. Now on 150mg weekly but take between 2-250mg weekly (grey area in terms of long term cardiovascular health)… feels great, cavg around 1300ng/dl
