Hi, I am 65, going on 66. I have started an 8 week back to sprinting program ( By Fred Duncan.com), am planning a few 100 109m races this summer. Am planning a 4 week cycle to try to get a jump on strength training. I still work 12 hr shifts at a raral ER, but on down times, I started push ups, band exercises. I load with 15 mg Salbutamol( Albuterol in the US), as it has some anabolic effects and primarily stimulates fast twitch fibers which decrease with age. My question is what is a reasonable lowish dose and when do you take it. I have no energy these days so I will be getting testosterone tests and try to get on replacement therapy. I am up to 3 sets of 50 push ups, was a mini goal, we did 3 sets as part of warm up as a young sprinter. My max bench at 5ft 8, 155 lbs was 250, would like to get near to that again! Thanks for any advice!
Ps I met a pre-jacked Ben Johnson at a party and beat him in an arm wrestle (1978). I finally had a 60m heat at
indoor champs, there was a monster next to me, post starting roids!!
A 4 week cycle of anything but orals is a waste and at 66yo iām not sure i would be using orals at all. Try to get on TRT. Itās gonna be your best bet for long term results.
